Mods, I am consistently getting called out for attacking posters and yet guys are allowed to call me a fraud and a liar and stuff like that?

What's up with that?

To be honest, I think with a couple of kids and the time invested, I'm probably going to bow out of this draft thing from 2007.

Not worth my hassle.

As far as getting by with stuff, bro, you certainly have been given plenty of room.
 
I have been having a hard time getting on all weekend, so I raelly haven't been able to mod much, when I get on it takes 5 minutes to switch threads to read.

You've given quite a bit back too. The difference is that the others have been given points and banned...you have not.

If someone gives you problems, report it. I will make sure it is taken care of.

Boomer, you're the fish, not the bait. Consider that. I've read your draft stuff, and you were thorough and upfront. Sometimes, people who respond in a reactionary manner don't deserve a response.
And for what it's worth, I'll call this prediction ;) Kids or no kids, job busy or not, you LOVE the draft and analyzing players. No one is ever 100%.
But, I hear ya. I don't like constant criticism either....but, only if it is from a respected source. It's pretty liberating to separate the two. :cooldude:
 
I will confess that Simon pointed out a problem that I have asked our Mods to correct immediately. We have a tendency to give points to the people who harass our gurus / staff / premium members / other paid members but we tend to PM the paid member to ask them to be nice and we edit their posts to keep everyone else from seeing the insults. For the non-paying members, we have been giving out points and banning them. Simon made us aware of the unfairness of the practice.

In the thread that Simon mentioned, two members were given 30 days ban and one was nearly maxed out in points...for the retaliation, no points were given.

As Moderators and caretakers of this site, we have let you guys down. The double standard will end today.

Harassing members...any members is wrong and now, everyone will be treated equally....

If you are attacked and you are in the elite fraction of FH, rise above it and know that if you let us handle it, we will protect you. If you retaliate, you are just as wrong as anyone else.
 
hey boom, i know from my personal point of view, it would be ashame if you left the draft stuff behind. this year, i felt very informed from not only you, but all those that put as much time and energy as you all have. maybe you could confine your posts to the premium board...

i hope you change your mind though. i know a good many of us enjoy what you do.

Plus Im sure many of us, myself included, like your analysis on all kinds of events NFL related and otherwise so you should stay.

I had initially wondered about this thread but Boomer, you did all of us a great service. You got the mods/admins to reassass the ground rules for operations. Good for you!

Thanks to the staff for being open to reconsider how you did things and grow in it.

Also Boomer I enjoy your work, please consider keeping it up!

You and have had dis-agreements in the past, but my respect for you and what you bring to the table is second to none. Like myself, you can be abrasive, but who cant. I find your insight enlightening and I always look forward to your posts.
Please dont stop.
