Passes on a chip shot FG early in the game. Stupid call, always take the points when its that early in the game. And it came back to cost them in the end.

4th in 10 coming off of a sack, and Joe Smooth decides to call a time out when it was CLEAR the Packers were confused and trying to get in a play and had no time outs left. Absolutely an idiotic decision by Philbin.

Both those decisions were the deciding factors in the game, and both Philbins fault.

yes, and Grimes, he was awful, Nelson did a number to him this game. He was AWFUL

He is absolutely clueless when it comes to end of half game management - its been especially glaring this year. He should do us all a favor and pack his incompetent ass on the Packers' plane home so he can get back to doing what he excels at in life - making PowerPoint presentations for McCarthy.

EDIT: Although I did agree with going for it on 4 and goal after the blocked punt. The way the game was going there, they needed to match GB's scoring. It was just horrid execution.

What killed us in this game was the absolutely asinine timeout and the weird playcalling on the last offensive possession.
 
Wanted the TD early but the timeout on 4th down killed me. Game would have been over. They were on the ropes with no TO's!!!!
 
also Philbin did the super mario sparano, wandstedt played to not lose with the ball and the lead
 
I agree. Worst time out call in anyplay in sports history. I have never thrown everything aound my room as i just did. what a f@#$ing terrible loss.
 
Philbin was horrible. Always has been. No idea what is going on
 
Totally agreed. was going to post the same thing... Hey lets try to run out the clock and see if rodgers can score with 4 downs...Moron...Philben blows...
 
Coach Philben Gives Packers TWO EXTRA TIME OUTS on FINAL DRIVE!

If you are going to need a touchdown to win and time is running out...and it is 4th down...you definitely want to take a knee and get your stuff together.

Coach Philben obliged the Packers, who had used up their own timeouts. He gave them TWO 4th down TIME OUTS!

I have less hair than Philben does this afternoon. WTF?

We cannot win with is imbecile as out coach. Why on earth do you call a timeout to setup a punt and then ho in what bizzarro retard world do you call a timeout to let the packers offense regroup on 4th and 10 with the clock running. Not to mention putrid offensive performances 5 out of the last 6 games. This guy has no clue and ant get it done ross show his loser ass the door ive been saying it for years
 
I also was surprised the defense was apparently taking off guard by the fake spike there. I pretty much expected it in that situation. They should have been prepared for anything in that spot.
 
Philbin has to go. No one for Miami can cover to save their lives. How could no one see that fake spike coming? I saw it, it was pretty obvious. Are there rules in the NFL that state every team HAS to have a coach? I think Miami would do better without a coach than with Philbin.
 
That TO to me clearly show that Philbin is simply a POOR GAME MANAGER. That was an absolutely stupid TO!!! I was screaming at the TV when the idiot did it...
