Firefox Dolphins Theme

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5537

For those of you who use the firefox browser, this is a pretty cool dolphins theme.
It is for the older version of firefox so if you haven't updated to 3.0 then you can use it.
Ive been looking for one for the new firefox but can't find it

I've been impatiently waiting for the update to 3.0 but since the publishers are apparently Bolts fans, doesn't look like there's any sense of urgency. It's a kewl skin tho and I miss it (3.0 is getting as bloated as IE unfortunately fwiw).

what do you mean bloated?

You mean there are people still using an old version of Firefox? Are they MS Windows users? Sheesh......

i don't think firefox notified anyone when the new browser was out.

I just got it recently. But the new firefox is completely customizable and its really nice. You can find almost anything you want to add on as a theme or another program that makes daily navigation even easier

Actually they held a worldwide event to set the wor;d record for most downloads in a single day. There was even a live mozillacam so you could watch the event unfold at their home offices. Funny part was when the IE team sent over a cake shaped like the IE logo to congratulate them.

They ended up setting a world record of over 8 million downloads in a 24 hour period. So many people tried downloading that their servers went down in the first hour. Much chaos ensued. More info can be found here: http://www.spreadfirefox.com/en-US/worldrecord/

The new Mozilla browser crashes before opening for me. Any suggestions?

I don't notice much difference between 3.0 and the others, except for the really supercool new extensions like easydragtogo, which beats the crap out of the old superdragandgo. That being said, I'm having a bit of trouble adding and removing add-ons through the add-on window.

I think the user can bloat firefox if he wishes, but it's not naturally bloated. And I can't tell if the poster who complained about mozilla not announcing Firefox 3 was being ironic, but maybe he meant firefox 2 wouldn't let the user know about firefox 3 through the update window.

Finally, I've been a finfan for a looong time, but I would never ever use a dolphin theme. I've got a life, you know :)

On Sunday when I play fantasy football and watch the game on the computer (I live in an apartment with trees around me so no DirecTV) I use this theme on Netscape Navigator 9 (rebranded Firefox 2):

The cool thing about Netscape Navigator 9 that makes it perfect for fantasy football is the sidebar mini browser (a feature not found in Firefox 2). I can have my live updates of my fantasy football league in my sidebar and the game in the main window. For anyone interested, at the bottom I also have a hacked version of the ESPN Bottomline add-on and at the top I have the WebGoRadio toolbar for all my Dolphins radio feeds. This theme is very professional and clean. I can't imagine fantasy football without it now.

I use Firefox 3 with the Azerty III theme the rest of the time.

thats sounds like a cool thing..
where can I get the Netscape add-on and also the ESPN add-on?

Netscape Navigator 9.0.0.6:
http://browser.netscape.com/releases

Netscape Navigator 9 isn't really an add-on. It's a browser based almost 100% on the Firefox 2 code and because of this, it will work will all Firefox 2 add-ons. The reason I recommend this browser and not Firefox 2 is because you can only have one version of Firefox at a time. So if you have Firefox 3, you can't have Firefox 2. Using this, you can have a browser that is almost identical to Firefox 2, but lets you keep Firefox 3.

ESPN Bottomline 0.1 (Hacked to 2.0):

To install the ESPN Bottomline add-on, just click and drag the file into the Netscape Navigator 9 window and click Install Now (also works on Firefox 2 and Firefox 3)

For anyone interested, I'm working on hacking the Miami Dolphins Firefox Theme to work with Firefox 3. It is at the early stages with a lot of things broken and will take a little while to finish as I am learning as I go, but here is the base file if you want to try it. This file will also work on Firefox 2 and Netscape Navigator 9 just fine:

Hacked Miami Dolphins Firefox Theme (Firefox 2, Netscape Navigator 9 and Firefox 3 **still has errors in FF3**):

Same rules apply for installing this as they do for installing ESPN Bottomline add-on. Drag into the Firefox 3 window and click Install Now.

great job thanks ;)
i did know that Netscape is a browser but I didn't know that you can use the Firefox add-on's for Netscape :)
but again great job and good luck making this Firefox 3 add-on
