First 2 picks & FA signing????

Ok without Brandon Marshall our WR corp is hot garbage, need I remind you whoelse Matt Moore (the soon to be franchise QB in you madden franchise) has to throw to???

Brian Hartline - 35 catches 549 yards 15.7 yards per catch 1 TD
Davone Bess - 51 catches 357 yards 10.5 yards per catch 3 TDs
Anthony Fasano - 32 catches 451 yards 14.1 yards per catch 5 TDs
Clyde Gates - 2 catches 19 yards 9.5 yards per catch 0 TDs

Brandon (MEAST) Marshall - 81 catches 1,214 yards 15.0 yards per catch 6 TD's
Brandon BLEW THEIR STATS OUT THE FRAME, WITHOUT HIM THOSE GUYS PROBABLY DON'T GET THE 1 on 1 COVERAGE THEY SAW ALL LAST YEAR AND WOULD HAVE HAD LESS PRODUCTION.

Marshall did end with great stats. But he also dropped a tremendous amount of passes. Many in the end zone. It was frustrating watching him at time last season.

I agree with you but consider who else is on the team, why does Marshall have to carry the team down the field (double any other receivers yardage) and score all the TD's in the redzone? I understand he is our #1 but we truely didn't have a solid offensive line with Columbo and we don't have a WR that can take the double team pressure off of Marshall.

He literally had to face the best opposing CB game in and game out with Saftey help. You can't honestly say that Hartline was catching TD's all year or Bess didn't have probably his worse season now can you???

Nonsense. The attempts and catches would have been similar, but there would have been twice as many receiving TD's as a group. You need to factor in the drops as well. How could Hartline have a better average than Marshall. You tell me. We also might have seen the emergence of Clyde Gates.
Brandon Marshall is a great player, but Moore put the ball in his hands all over the field, including deep throws of 40-50 yards that were perfectly placed. Stop your hatred for Moore.
Can we upgrade to a QB better than Moore? Absolutely. But Moore's can lead this team in 2012 if we fail to land an upgrade.

Garcon Campbell or Nicks(both is to much) and Nelson.QB is totally up in the air Manning,Flynn trade up and get Luck or stick with Moore.

Draft-Coples(if Campbell isnt signed)Upshaw or trade down to accumulate a few picks in the 1st and get Keuchly. In the 2nd i wouldnt mind Miami getting a TE either Fleener or Allen but 1 will be gone to the NY giants.

You lost me here, why group it together againt just Marshalls production?

Hartline was the benefactor of 1 on 1 coverage with no saftey help, you can't honestly tell me the FS wasn't rolled over to Marshall side of the field 8 out of 10 times leaving Hartline to enjoy 1 on 1 coverage with no saftey help?

Brandon Marshall is a great player
We agree

Moore needed Marshall more than Marshall needed Moore, any NFL QB would LOVE to throw to Marshall.

The GM, Owner and Headcoach all agree with Marshall, an upgrade at QB is needed to get us over the hump. In other words Moore is a career back up. You need to stop hating on our best WR and understand he's just doing his job unlike the other WR's on our roster.

Moore played well last year no disputing that but Marshall wasnt dropping long touchdown passes. Most of his drops were from inside the red zone, he actually made some pretty big plays last year catching long passes and running into the endzone. Marshall is the least of our problems, the guy was what 2nd in the AFC in receiving yards? Considering the guy who finished ahead of him (Welker) has the benefit of facing LBers and Safetys and nickel backs compared to facing DBs 100% of the time and typically the other teams BEST DB and double coverage like Marshall. Then you factor in Marshall did this on one of the worst passing teams in the league while Welker did it on one of the best and it isnt a stretch at all to say Marshall had the best season, yardage wise in the AFC.

Outside of Marshall we have the worst WR's in the league. Bess and Hartline have no business being starting WRs in this league and Bess can no longer be mistaken for a great slot guy like a lot of homers used to say in the past. He's never been anywhere near what fans would like to believe. He'd come up with key catches on 3rd down but fans used to refer to him as one of if not the best slot guy in the league. He'll never be a play-maker. He just doesnt have the skill set. That's why Id like to have Kendall Wright, a guy who can play in the slot and actually make a play past 10 yards. Someone who can actually make a play outside of Marshall. Bess would be nice to have as a 4th guy who can come in and play slot but he doesnt have any business getting as many snaps as he does because he ll never be anything other than a guy who comes in and gets a few 6-10 yard catches on 3rd down.

We definitely wouldn't have the absolute worst without Marshall. That's just a comment to antagonize argument

imo what makes you so sure that if manning dosent come to Miami and we go with flynn what makes you so sure we dont go with blackmon in the first , now i see why if we get manning , because we need more protection for him but flynn , blackmon would be the perfect fit ,and then a TE in the 2nd rd.

Blackmon is going top 5. He won't be available @ #9. I'd love him in the first. We don't need a TE in the second, however.

It's hard to say at this point.

I think many guys will return to their original teams and there are going to be strange cap causalities.

But trying to be realistic and ignoring if Peyton could return into great level, this is my wish list:

Free agency:
At offense, we're moving into a West Coast Offense derivation, so we need a new style of catching RB and a pair of TE.
-QB: Matt Flynn & Chad Henne. Henne deserves a chance under WCO derivation and Flynn represents the guy to beat. In order to create room for this, Matt Moore could be traded. I would stay out of several Kool-Aid jars including: Peyton Manning, who might require a year or two to recover and Vince Young, who might require a life or two.
-RB: No matter if Ireland finds gold in Canada (again), I'm worried on our running backs. Reggie Bush is a brave player but not an every down horse. Bring back Ronnie Brown!
-WR: We're fine at WR, but bringing Ted Ginn Jr. back won't hurt our ST.
-OL: Demetrius Bell & Evan Mathis are my ideal prospects to repair the right side of our O-line, but surely cheaper options might emerge.
-TE: Fred Davis seems like the multi-threading piece this offense requires.

On defense, I'm not sold on the idea of returning into a full time 4-3 scheme, mostly because Karlos Dansby isn't ZT. It's incongruent that a man of such shoes looks insufficient to fill Zach's ILB role, but even when having a firm base works against no-huddle offense (often used by Patriots), it's a shame to see big play after big play in other conditions.

That said if Miami goes for a 4-3 defense we'll need new OLB and DE.
-DE: Cliff Avril won't be available as I expect he'll be franchised in the coming days. But if Detroit allows him to go without the franchise tag, he's our goal. Matt Roth could be interested in returning to a 4-3, while Adam Carriker is a cool option.
-LB: Not a great free agency at this position, but Anthony Spencer could represent an upgrade.

In case Dolphins pick a mix of 4-3 & 3-4 schemes, aside of a DE, we'll need a good NT.
-NT: Paul Soliai is my top priority but other like Aubrayo Franklin might work.
-DT: Kendall Langford should return.

The draft
Depending on what's fixed before draft day, our strategy might move in many ways. Assuming we'll focus on offense and will have a new QB, TE & RG, top priority should be RT or a pass rusher.
First round pick options:
-OT: Riley Reiff, as easy as 1st round or free agent at RT
-DE: Quinton Coples, Melvin Ingram, distinct guys same function.
-OLB: Courtney Upshaw

On 2nd round, Dolphins would be trading down some spots or going for TE, pass rusher or development passer.
Second round pick options:

-TE: Coby Fleener, just what the doctor prescribed to build a good offense
-OLB: Zach Brown
-QB: Ryan Tannehill

I think if the new DC wants Nelson, he has seen his play, we get him.Same story with Flynn.

Forget Matt Flynn

we need to restructure Brandon Marshall sign Jake long to an extension and restructure Karlos Dansbys contract to cut there cap numbers in half which would free up another 12-15 million

In FA we sign Ben Grubbs or Nicks and go after Robert Meachem Reggie Nelson Manny Lawson and Pat Sims

Then try to trade down in the draft if we do draft Michael Floyd with pick 1 and pick to fleener and pick 2b OT

if we cant move down draft Jonathan Martin in rd 1 and round two fleener.

taking a TE is essential.

Going into the season if our offense looks like this I would be extremely happy

QB- Moore
FB- messam
RB- Bush/Thomas
WR Marshall, Hartline, Gates
WR- Meachem,Bess
TE- Fleener and Clay
LT- Long
LG- Grubbs/Nicks
C-Pouncy
RG-Incognito/Jerry
RT-Martin
