*NOTE: The table was updated to include data from last 2 games vs. Vikings and Jets)

This isn't progress, it's stagnation. Keeping Philbin for another year would be a collossal mistake and a waste of a year as it very likely would end in similar fashion to Sparano - fired midseason after a bad start. Time for fresh blood once again...

The nail in the coffin for me is the offense scoring less under Philbin, an offensive coach, than under Sparano, nominally offensive but not considered a brilliant strategist.

Very interesting And very pathetic that sparano was a more successful coach than Phailbin and Phailbin had more talent than sparano. Makes Phailbin look even worse than he does without the comparison

The three year cycle of hope
Here we are again, hire a new coach/GM and have high hopes things will change. About 2 1/2 years go by then you realize the new coach or GM or both aren't the answer. The owner cleans house, we hire a new coach/GM and once again have hope. Rinse repeat, this the life of the modern day dolphin fan.

It's because sparano wasn't afraid to have leaders in his locker room. Meatball didn't jettison all his leadership in one offseason

Dave Wannstedt, Cam Cameron, Tony Sparano, Joe Philbin. Unbelievable.

I love how you assume we will win our last two games.

Why do you not compare 3 years of Henne to 3 years of Tannehill?

Again - Philbin isn't a good coach but the common denominator here is the talent here that can't execute.

I'm not assuming that actually, just giving him a benefit of the doubt, lol. And comparing Henne to Tannehill would be laughable, but you are right I should do that. I already know that Henne has NEVER had a season where he had more TDs than INTs, Tannehill has already done that twice. The two aren't even comparable in terms of talent.

Ever think that happened because Failbin got rid off Bush, Ling, and Dansby the teams leaders allowing the locker room to be run by Incognito, and Pouncey?
