First article that really mentions Moore versus Henne

for teh record, moore overthrew two balls in case anyone is counting vs. henne.

"It's tough to justify a personnel switch on a single performance, especially one in the preseason, but Henne's disappointing play against the Falcons is worthy of concern. The fourth-year pro looked indecisive and uncomfortable in the pocket and his failure to find his passing rhythm kept the offense stuck in neutral.

Henne also had two turnovers, including a head-scratching interception to Brent Grimes that prompts questions about his judgment in the pocket. Moore, on the other hand, displayed better poise and presence in the pocket. Granted, he worked against Falcons backups, but his confidence and decisiveness led to better play from the unit.

The Dolphins appear to have a roster capable of making a push at the postseason, but the quarterback play threatens to hold them back. If Henne continues to deliver dismal results, it might be time for Tony Sparano to hand the keys to the offense to Moore."

Not only should he hand he keys the Moore, but he should strip Henne's drivers license to boot. :hclap:

wasn't Bucky Brooks singing Henne's tune just a few weeks ago? and now one preseason performance and he's ready to put him on the bench.

Because that one preseason performance was exactly like we've seen out of Henne the last two years, when he handicapped this team. Plus, the other guy just made better throws and better plays than Henne ever has in his time here.

Just sayin, if Brooks can flip flop on a player that quickly on one performance, I can see why he's not a scout anymore. More of an opinion on Brooks than Henne.

If they do it, it needs to be by preseason game 3 and be done with it give Moore time to gel with first team.

You'd hope that a QB going into his third year of starting would be progressing to the point where he had gotten that ridiculous mistake out of his system. For everyone covering the game, local to national, that ridiculous pick pretty much did away with that.

All I know is Moore had several incredible throws. That throw to Wallace between 2 defenders, right on the money, with a guy all in his face, damn good throw. The throw to Gates in between 2 defenders, right on the money. The throw to Gates in the endzone with 3 defenders about to take him out. The TD throw to Wallace while getting blasted. Henne couldn't make those throws if his life depended on it, Moore was making them while getting hit. Don't even get me started on Moore's awareness in the pocket, and use of his feet to make things happen once the pocket broke down. Henne's pocket awareness has always been well below average.

If Moore looks good in the 2nd game, you can bet your *** he'll be getting snaps with the 1st team in game 3, where starters typically play an entire half.

Matt Moore has been here a week and played better then Chad Henne did.

He seemed to play with a energy that has been lacking. The big thing is that he moved the ball be it running (he scrambled out of 3 sacks) or passing. His look and pass to C Gates was a very nice play.

You know me and I am down with that I would have sat RoboShrek long a go! He wouldn't be on this roster he has positively shown he has a ceiling and keeps hitting his head on it!

moore played well but lets allow Chad a game with the two best players on offense (marshall and Bush) also for those counting at home Moore def had some bad throws as well. One was an INT that is being dubbed as Wallaces fault but Moore threw that ball when wallace wasnt open and had safety help. Thats a risk and while i like it, sometimes that ends up in an INT and thats what happened. Shouldnt have thrown that ball.
