First cuts are on Tuesday. Who will be the first to go?

I project the end of the Daniel Thomas saga on Tuesday. :3w:

I think Dallas Thomas may be on his way out too. Coaching staff has no need to be loyal to him.

I don't think Daniel Thomas makes the roster, but I am not sure he will be in the first wave of cuts. Foster and Ajayi probably won't play in game 4, which leaves Pead, Williams, Thomas and Drake. Pead got hurt last night (hamstring), so he may be unavailable and I would think they will be cautious with Drake, leaving Williams and Thomas to share most of the load for game 4.

DT's chances got better if pead has a hammy or whatever.

The guy has always gotten a bad rap on this site, and as a 2nd round pick, rightfully so, but DT can make plays.

I say he could stick for days and then be cut and brought back later when injury occurs.

I don't think Dallas Thomas is cut at all. I do this the Jamil Douglas experiment is definitely over

How do you guys envision Dion Jordan making this team? With guys like Warmsley stepping up big this preseason we are stacked. He hasn't played and I haven't heard anything about him playing Week 4 of the preseason.

At this point I don't even think I'd be happy with him making the team over some other guys that have been here working and actually playing. Guys like Warmsley. After what I've seen from him I'd be pissed if they kept Jordan over him.

Wake, Mario, McCain, Fede, Warmsley, Branch, J Jones.. Where does Jordan fit into this?

Warmsley is a DT, Dion Jordan is a DE and Jordan will start the season on the NFI list so the Dolphins will have 6 weeks to figure it out.

Warmsley is making this team and if it was up to me I'd have him ahead of Jordan Phillips who hasn't shown jack squat so far.

Thanks for this. Wasn't aware of the NFI possibility. I'm assuming that stands for Non-Football Injury?

Correct since he was injured before he was even reinstated it is considered a Non-Football injury. Not much different than PUP.

love or hate Dallas Thomas, he is at least a serviceable backup. Considering he's started for so long, at least he knows the team (though plays like he doesn't know lol). My guess is he stays around as a backup.

So we currently have 86 on the roster. We need to cut 11.

Here's my list:
DE Jordan Williams
DE Cedric Reed
WR Brandon Shippen
WR A.J. Cruz
OG Vinston Painter
OG Jamil Douglas
CB Jordan Lucas
TE Gabe Hughes
TE Thomas Duarte
DT Deandre Coleman
LB Zach Vigil (waived/Injured)

I would be inclined to cut a kicker but after Franks shanked the crap out of that kick yesterday I might let that play out another week.

I want to see more of Jamil Douglas. First game aside (playing out of position at Center), I thought he held his own the 2nd time he had to replace Pouncey.
