first depth chart released

That is weird. I haven't heard anything about Douglas being in the doghouse, but you have to wonder. I know LG is crowded with Tunsil, but Douglas has more potential than Dallas Thomas.

Douglas is not a center, he is a guard. He was drafted as a guard and should have never been starting as a center last year.

Kinda surprised at Grant not being listed as the starting returner, or as a receiver at all

When will the Dallas Thomas Disaster end? I keep reading how bad the offensive line is in camp...... When do we get Thomas out of there and put Tunsil in?

http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins_in_depth/2016/08/first-depth-.html I think the most surprising thing for me is jamil douglas listed as 3rd team pivot behind Anthony steen...a very marginal foot and space athlete...potential 4th round pick a year ago on the chop block...better pick it up haven't heard a peep from him all camp
A number of surprises, Painter is #2 behind Albert? Haven't heard his name all camp. Steen #2 C RT - John behind James TE - Duarte is 5th TE WR - Grant behind Cruz MLB - Johnson #2 (another name I haven't heard). Hull #3. KR/PR - I don't like Landry as the starter KR - Williams #2. Please, no. I'd like to see Grant as KR. Not certain I want him at PR where the D can be on him the instant he catches the ball.

Dallas Thomas is listed at the starting left guard. Rookie first-round pick Laremy Tunsil, who is expected to have this job by the time the regular season rolls around, is listed as second team left guard.

I still say Thomas will be opening day starter. Mark my words. The voodoo is real. :bobdole:

He practices well and then gets in the game and well....we all know what he does. He will show his true colors in the 3rd PS game thus losing his job to Tunsil. I would not be surprised to see the same thing happen at RG with Bushrod ultimately winning the spot. He and his $1.82M salary will be released on September 3rd.

Branden Albert is the 3rd highest paid player. Pouncey is 4th. James is 16th. Tunsil is 17th. Dallas T is 18th. Bushrod is 24th. Urbik is 28th. I don't see them keeping a backup who makes that much money. Especially when they are paying so much to the rest of the line.

Players who are 10th, 11th and 12th in highest salaries....Misi, Mitchell and Dion Jordan.

I just can not believe D Thomas is on the first team. I know this the first depth chart and it does not mean much. If he is still on the team come week one, it means we still have the same idiots as before and this team is doomed.:err:
