First Dolphin Trading Card

My first Dolphin card was Jim Mandich. He didn't become my favorite Dolphin, but for some reason, I remember that moment very well.

I have a Bob Griese, Larry Little, Larry Csonka and Jim Langer just to name a few. I would have to look at my collection. I think I even have a Don Shula.

I think it was Marino, but I can't really remember.

When I was in 3rd grade the whole class received a few decks of cards and the ones that I remember getting were: Marino, Jensen, Byars, Kirby, Webb, and Clayton. I was never into trading cards, though.

My first was a Marino Superbowl card that i got out of a claw machine in an arcade. Fan ever since despite my Patriot loving family.

i think my first card was a pete stojanovich card. i may still have it in my collection. haven't looked at my collection in years.

My first 2 dolphins cards that I remember getting and still have are Larry Little & Jim Langer. I am starting to feel really old.

mmm i dont remember because i started collecting cards so young (like 2nd grade or maybe earlier). I remember having a 1990 Pro Set Marino very early on in my card days haha... those cards were worth peanuts, I think Marino's was one of the highest ones at like 15 cents. I loved collecting marino cards though, I had about 150 of his by the time I stopped buying cards in 6th or 7th grade.

Mine was a Topps Jarvis williams (1989). A few weeks later, i bought a pack of Pro set cards at a local convenient store. I had an extra 50 cents (those were the days....). It was dark outside so I was sitting in the back of my parents' Suburban clutching the pack waiting for the 15 minute ride home to end. The second card in that pack was a Dan Marino. It used to be a big deal to take your cards to school. I wouldn't trade my marino for anything. Of course the numerous bus rides, etc mad ethe cards wear faster. That christmas, a lady that worked with my dad (my dad wa sgood friends with her and her husband) gave me a plastic sheet with 5 marino cards in it (from her husband's collection). There was a Score Top Gun, an Upper Deck, a Topps, and the same pro set card I already had. Those stayed in my album and never came out. They are in pristine condition to this day. When I got a little older, I bought osme marino cards but never really got into the hobby too much.
