We had this record at the beginning of last season and all of us we're like here we go again. This team played like complete c**p the beginning of last year and look at the season they put together. Especially Chad Pennington. Now most of you are ready to throw him out and let Henne play because of ONE bad performance. He had this same performance last season and all of you were ready to do the same after the terrible job he did against Arizona. It's like you love him when he does good, and want him benched if he does terribly. That's just ridiculous. Let's see what happens a few games in. Stop worrying that we can't get anywhere. Quite a few things went wrong for the Dolphins today and Pennington didn't cause all of them. Sure he had a bad game, but let's give him the benefit here. He the same start last year and look at where it took us. 11-5.

I'm not saying let's get rid of Penny now, but this a whole new year.

We had an easy schedule last year. We have the hardest one this year. We can't dink and dunk anymore. We're playing solid and elite D's now.

The NFL is a copy cat league. The Falcons watched the Ravens game.

They saw our #1 weakness and took advantage. Nobody respects Penny's arm.

Nobody is afraid of the deep pass and they stack the box. That explains the lack of running game.

Ginn dosen't deserve Penny. He should be with a QB who can throw deep. He would probably be a breakout WR if he had deep threat QB.

We struggled against a bad D. Imagine a team like the Steelers and Titans. They WILL domiante us.

I would like Henne in, seeing we already have 4 TO's in one game.

Until we get a #1 WR, a new OC, and a deep threat QB, our offense will not be respected.

Really?!

Yes I said it. Ginn is built for a cannon arm QB, I love Penny, but I really want a QB with a zip. He's always opened, but Penny can't throw it to him.

I'm not saying put Henne in now, but if things get out of hand, it's time to put Henne in.

Start Henne because of the TO's? Fasano fumbled twice, and Pennington had his int and fumble, but that's uncharacteristic of him. Not getting what Henne fixes here.

People don't respect the deep pass. That's why Penny gets no time to throw and the running game is nonexistent.

I'm starting to agree. I'm not calling for Henne yet but a bad showing against the Colts can change my mind.

That's what I'm saying. I don't want to get rid of CP now, but if he has another bad game because of this reason, I will preach for Henne. Who knows? Maybe he will be Matt Ryan for us.

Penny in his last 2 games.... 5 INTS and a fumble.

2 Loses.

Bad thing is, Penny atleast threw it down the field a little last year . . . he didn't go deep not one time . . . Pat White is the only QB to throw is down field . . . and yea he threw past Ginn about 10 yards . . . but damn it felt good to atleast see the attempt.

Pennington is great, but when a QB has no confidence in his arm to throw is downfield, a change may be needed.

If he plays like crap next week, I will rally for Henne.

Come on boss aren't you oversimplifying here? Did you happen to see Lou Polite almost get killed in the backfield when Smiley whiffed on an assignment?

There is MUCH more to the run game than a live armed QB. After all how many thousand yard rushers did Marino have? One.

... but if they feared the deep pass, the oline wouldn't get as overwhelmed as much. Everyone blitzes because they are not afraid of Penny throwing a screen.

How does this make any sense when a screen kills the blitz? Blitzing takes away the the deep ball and forces QB's to their hot read and the WR's are suppose to break off their routes.

Apparently you did not see the playoff game against Baltimore last year.
