Lo. Booker was a high 3'rd round pick last year... last year he showed promise every time he touched the ball and even took a few hard SHOTS and bounced back up pretty fast.

Why would we trade a high 3'rd round pick who looked good last year for a mid 4'th round pick!?!?!? makes no sense to me

The only reason I can think of for why this would happen is if he had some kind of argument /disagreement with one of the new coaches... what else would warrant a move like this??

Completely agree, this trade was an absolute joke. Lorenzo Booker was immediately our best player last year on offense as soon as he played.

Meh Booker has no future as a starter. We have ricky and ronnie.

not a BP pick though.....im sure they have evaluated his talent level and now that we seem to be a power running game he is simply to small to be effective in this offense

because he wants most of last years pics gone and they are
huge on KEVIN SMITH who is just as good a pass catcher
but is bigger and a better runner. i think that is the plan
unless a big back is a target later.

this is a draft you want as many 2-4th round pics as possible
and bill is delivering!!

This is the first move BP&Co. have made that I don't get. I agree...there had to be something more behind it than meets the eye. Maybe send him to Philly to punish the 'Boys?

I'll see what I can find out (but it'll be next week).

This guy averaged 4.5 yards a carry in his rookie year... with barely any passing game and a mediocre line...

he also had 28 catches and averaged over 8 yards a catch... I don't think we're gonna find a running back in the forth round who will be as promising, I thought Booker provided nice depth as our 3'rd back behind Ricky and Ronnie...

We must get Kevin Smith because Booker could have been an amazing slot receiver.

This guy was also the 3'rd or 4'th running back on our depth chart and was only thrown in because Ronnie went down.. and Chatman got hurt... and he still played very well in his first year.

seriously dont understand this move unless its a personal/character issue.

Lo. Booker was never going to see the field. Sorry for your man love for him. He has potential but thats it, good luck to him. The FO saw value in trading now because he's young and they can get something for him. Imagine waiting 2yrs from now and him becoming a free agent we get nothing. Smart move by the FO.

He's not going to see the field?

He saw the field last year.....

How can you count on Ricky Williams playing, and how do you know Ronnie's knee is going to hold up? With Chatman gone Booker is going to see significant time this season, and he's shown he can be a playmaker.

link?????? lol, everyone is talking about this and there is still no link?
