Disclaimer- This mock takes into account that Suh, Grimes, and Wake will be restructured in order to resign OV, and Lamar Miller, extend Reshad Jones, and sign two guards in FA.

1. Andrew Billings, DT- We get another anchor to our line, instant starter to eat up blocks for Suh to be more of the attacking DT specialist that we wanted him to be. You don't give 100 million to a player to take on two blockers, which he did most of last year, you pay him to be a force. We will cut Mitchell, and Phillips will take his place as the pass rushing DT off the bench. Suh, Billings, and Phillips is a very good trio of DTs for the future

2. William Jackson, CB- Tall corner with ball skills that we so desperately need to go up against Brandon Marshall and Sammy Watkins in our division, can play press or zone. If we cut McCain, Taylor, and let Michael Thomas walk, we need to add another skilled corner within the first three rounds of the draft; Lippett and Bobby McCain hopefully will come to camp with some more muscle and technique. Also, I'm hoping they put Aikens back at CB because I do think he has talent but FS is just not his position.

3. Kamalei Correa, LB/DE- 6'3 250, looks very aggressive with good hand technique and athleticism. I can see him as our SOLB if we decide to cut Misi, or DE in relief for Wake.

4. Sean Davis, FS/CB- Solid prospect, who I think looks better as a FS, but can play corner as well. Good instincts, can play the run well, and good size at 6'1 202.

With Suh on board and a 2nd round pick spent on Phillips last year, I'm passing on drafting a DT in the 1st 3 rounds. Too many other holes on team.

If Miami changes to a 3-4 I'm very interested in a plug at NT if Billings can play that position....I was actually wondering if A Shawn or him could play that position?

Plus we need pure speed on Defense does that CB have it?Thats where Sammy beat us.

I don't believe Jackson has tremendous speed, but he has good length and seems like he has good closing speed and awareness. I don't think Ramsey, who is my overall fav choice in the first, will be there and Jack as well, so at that point its either trying to get a OT to play guard, or go Dline and beef up the trenches. Adding a NT prospect, even if we don't go to a 3-4, will help out tremendously and 5 years on a rookie contract for a starter alongside Suh is tremendous value.

Billings would an interesting choice I'm not sure about using the #8 pick on him.

A 300+ pound DL, also one of the strongest players in football who can chase down a running back 40 yards downfield.

If we cut Mitchell and lose Shelby to free agency, we are going to need another DT. With Phillips being a liability against the run last season, we might have to spend a draft pick in the first 3 round on a DT.

As of right now we have Deandre Coleman, Mitchell, Suh, Phillips and Robert Thomas at DT.

Billings actually makes a lot of sense. I love him as a player.

He's now my favorite realistic pick for #8.

I'm not sure whose better between Andrew Billings or A'Shawn Robinson, but either one would make sense next to Suh. Miami defensive line wasn't nearly as good as most expected. Part of the reason was that Cam Wake missed half of the season taking away a player that opposing teams had to game plan for. But another aspect was the lack of good play next to Suh at defensive tackle.

Tannenbaum insisted on rolling the bones on DT Jordan Phillips in the second round, now we have to roll with him and fill one of our many other needs at #8 and beyond imo.

The pick of Phillips has nothing to do with what Miami does or doesn't do in the draft. Interior DL is either set or it is not.

I also read that Tannembaum simply told Hickey to stick to his board. Phillips was the top rated player on Hickey's board.
