First OFFICIAL Depth Chart

I'm pretty sure Bush is slated to get 70% of the snaps in your offense this season. Barring injury of course. Also, he's never been a KR and I honestly don't think you'll have him as a PR either, unless you're down by a score with under 2 minutes left and need something in a hurry. Otherwise, I'm guessing they'll limit his exposure to hits.

70% would be a good 15-20 touches a game. Are they planning to use him ala Westbrook/Faulk?

i don't know that specifically...but what he's said since the trade and TS as well has alluded to him getting the bulk of snaps at least until he fails to produce I imagine.

I was surprised to see Clay listed as a FB instead of a TE. There has been talk of Clay playing the FB position but I have assumed he would be our down the field threat at TE. Hope he becomes the next Shannon Sharpe and not a FB.

woah. lets hope he becomes the starter first. Then we can start talking Shannon. haha

...that being said, I of course am with you 110%

This.

It's just a guideline for the first game; it has very little to do with how it's going to end up. Maybe some guys are getting bumped up or down based on first impressions (like Gates), but ultimately what they do on the field is going to define the final 53.

Sharpe was another 7th round pick (192). Personlly said it took up to the last pre season game for him to even make the team. Then he became a hall of famer. I don't think this is a crazy "hope to be' comparison.

You can bet on 2 things right now.

1) Gates by the end of week 2 will take over as the #2 guy.
2) Jones will be the starting FS by week 2.

didnt say it was crazy, but Sharpe was a rare talent. To have gotten him in the 7th was beyond a steal. Im just saying Im hoping that he can atleast become the starting TE we are hoping for. All training camp reports indicate that it is a real possibility

think poor mans chris cooley with charles clay...heck that would be great...not shannon sharpe
