So its down to Matt Ryan, Glenn Dorsey, Jake Long or Chris Long. Right now with the first pick of the Draft I think the Dolphins should not go Matt Ryan, yes a QB is someting of need but with a 2nd round pick invested in Beck its not smart this year. Glenn Dorsey would be great if the Dolphins ran a 4-3 like they use to but he is not the Big 325 lb Double Team DT that a 3-4 needs. Chris Long would be great, hes a Jason Taylor mold, but he the Fins still have Jason Taylor and they need an ILB. If some how they could get Dan Connor it would be great, maybe move down acquire some more picks and land Connor. But with the #1 pick the Fins should get Jake Long. Enough with JL is a RT not a LT, hes better than Vernon Carey at LT and will be an instant improvement and develop very well.

With the Purge last week a LG and a RT is needed, so move Carey to RT keep Hadnot at RG, Satele at C, Jake Long at LT and find a LG in Free agency.

I know lots of you would not agree but with the pick we have now and the current team it makes the most sense.
 
u can get Matt Ryan at #1, but u can also get Joe Flacco in the 2nd or 3rd. u can get a good Glen Dorsey at #1, and u can also get a big beefy Red Bryant in the 2nd or 3rd. u can get Chris Long at #1, but u can also get Phillip Merling at #32. u can get Jake Long at #1, but u can also get Cherilus, Otah, Albert, Baker, etc...later on in the 1st/2nd.

its a hard decision. i believe the #1 pick should be the most pressing need and right now if we keep Jason Taylor, Holliday and Roth.....then DE isnt our biggest need. right now if we keep Beck and like him, then QB isnt the biggest need. Traylor is gone, so Soliai needs some help at DT...and now we dont have an RT, so to me...the pick is gonna be either DT or RT. but u dont take Jake Long at #1, if Jake is the guy u want, then u gotta trade back.
 
I think that u can Count Jake Long and Matt Ryan out of it i think it is Between Chris Long and Glenn Dorsey
 
I want us to trade down....nothing else makes sense.

Who doesn't want us to trade down? Since it's happened twice in the last 20 years and this year doesn't have a player that a vast majority agrees is #1 worthy, the chances of a trade down are slim at best.

you can get Chris Long #1... or you can even get him a bit down. trade with atlanta? you can get him there. 1-5???
 
We basically picked the wrong year to go 1-15
