Good call. He was phenomenal. We needed him today. He was a must have for the victory.
Also gotta say this, as frustrating as watching the D can be, hats off to them, they gave up 2 TDs to arguably the best offense in the NFL. A lot of today was just great offense (only play I think was a bad playcall by Boyer was the 2nd TD) but dem boys played with that heart
The bad weekend for the Canes continues...
Going into the season, I remember several posters saying they would be happy if the Dolphins were 2-2 after the first 4 games and many people didn’t think beating the Bills would be one of those 2 wins. I have no problem stating I was one of those individuals and very happy I was wrong.
While there were certainly some fans who believed the Dolphins would beat the Bills, few had the Dolphins 3-0 after the first three games.
Seeing some people bitching about the fact the Bills were missing some starters or they had trouble with the heat is BS. Teams coming down to South Florida to play in September have always had to deal with the heat and humidity. Just like the Dolphins have to deal with the cold and snow when they have late season games in cold weather cities.
The fact is the Dolphins had starters miss the game too and it was hot and humid for them too. Howard had to leave the game for a while because he had cramps in his legs. Tua was knocked silly but came back in the 2nd half and played even after many of us thought he would be out for a couple of weeks.
I don’t give a damn that the Bills were hot or that they were missing some starters because of injuries. That’s football and I’m just happy the Dolphins won the game. Because in the end, ‘winning the game” is all that matters.
