Wasn't pretty, but both the offense and defense did just enough to win the game against an elite team. Some people are going to complain or crap on different players, including Tua, but I'm just happy to be 3-0 when everyone was saying Miami might start 0-4. I have no problems with the pass from the endzone. We ran the ball on 1st and 2nd and almost got stuffed for a safety. At the rate Tua completes passes, in most cases that goes for a short gain runs a little clock and give the punter more room. It didn't work out the way you would want but I have no problems with throwing on 3rd.

I was hoping for a simple pass play over the middle on 1st or 2nd down )

I think that was McDermott's game plan. He had to keep the ball and clock moving because he had no secondary. They couldn't run the ball so they dropped Allen back 63 times and threw underneath and moved the chains.

Things worked out but what does everyone think about our offensive strategy on our final drive backed up at the goal line?

It was terrible. Coach put away his big balls on that series for sure. That really could have and should have cost us the game so very fortunate the D held up one more time.
