FIRST PLACE!!!! Post game discussion, gloat fest!!!

Regarding today's game, I'd like to see us:
- Start getting Tindall involved. He could have helped on those scrambles late in the game when we were gassed. Same for GINK. Really surprised we didn't use him more.
- This heat and fatigue will carry over into next week. We absolutely need to get these guys rest and fluids all week. Don't be surprised if the bills lose again next week they melted.
- I'm surprised we didn't get more out of our RB's given they obviously schemed hard at keeping guys over the top on Hill. I don't think they double Waddle most the time but he was playing hurt.
- We need a guy like Stille on this defense, especially when Davis is out. Flowers is fine but we need more hustle beef like Seiler. Gustin would have been nice too today.
- I thought our scheming was fine but we got a little too tricky with it IMO. Some of that motion timing emphasis on offense with the motion is rough when everyone is gassed
- Wondering how one of my favorite newcomers grades out today - Kohou.

I think that was McDermott's game plan. He had to keep the ball and clock moving because he had no secondary. They couldn't run the ball so they dropped Allen back 63 times and threw underneath and moved the chains.
Great point.

Old School Football!
The best game I've seen in 60 years!
It's not the size of the fight in the dog, it's the size of the dog in the fight.

We just beat the 2nd best team and 2nd toughest team in football!
This means we are the best and the toughest!

Game three - YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHING YET

I predict:
We will get smarter and play even better as the season progresses.

Nothing else to say except:
This is a forum is for serious Dolphins Fans!!!
"Lemmings" get lost! - LOL

Today is the day to introduce another famous Mark Twain quote in addition to all the ones quoted by @Ray R:

"Lies, damn lies, and statistics."

If someone would have told me that the Dolphins would win despite being outgained 500 yards to 200 and losing the TOP 41 minutes to 19 while only being +1 in TO differential, I wouldn't have believed it. Impossible! No f*****' way!

Heart, will and determination simply do not show up in the box score. What a great team win!

Man, I gotta give props to Josh Allen. I didn't want to like him..But it's starting to get hard not too.

Unbelievable talent and he seems like a good guy too.

This is a real 'everyone gets a game ball' game. The whole team played hard.

It was old school football where everyone was gutting it out in the heat. Total will power game.

So very proud of the players. The defense could have easily given up being on the field as much as they were and then watching Teddy's worm burners while Tua was out. No sir, they balled out all game and took it all in stride. We seem to have some very good leaders on the team right now.

1. It’s obvious that Boyer was willing to let them go underneath all day. We gave up a lot of underneath yardage. Even still, the players had several lapses that could have gotten us off the field. Say whatever you want, and it frustrated me at times, but it worked on the scoreboard.
2. Our goal line and short yardage defense has been literally phenomenal. It’s winning us games. No minor thing.
3. Howard was great on Diggs.
4. Late in the game, Buffalo was gasping for air. Despite being on the field a ton, our defense had the guts to exert themselves to make key plays to make the stops and win the game.
5. Jevon Holland was great on the back end.
6. Tua’s hit to Waddle way down field was a perfect deep throw.
7. Tua’s TD pass was a great throw.
8. Cracraft knows how to get open. He’s great in the red zone because he can pop free in tight spaces.
9. Nice job by Edmonds.
10. I think our run game will get better. We are putting stuff on tape more and more, and it’s going to give McCoach ideas based on how defenses react.
