FIRST PLACE!!!! Post game discussion, gloat fest!!!

I can’t even believe what I’m reading on here LOL. This game proves how much better Buffalo is than Miami.

Micah Hyde
Jordan Poyer
Tredavious White
Dane Jackson
Jordan Phillips
Ed Oliver
Mitch Morse
Spencer Brown
Ryan Bates
Christian Benford

All missed the game. Knox, Diggs and other missed significant parts of the game. Bills missing 7 starters of 11 on defense and 3 of the 5 offensive lineman. The entire secondary. Bills were starting guys called up from the practice squad this week. All of that… and the dolphins still struggled to beat their backups and practice squad guys. That’s horrible. Miami should have STOMPED Buffalo yet Buffalo almost wins the game and it goes down to the wire. I wouldn’t feel good if I were a dolphins fan. There is a major difference between the two teams. Took to the last play for Miami to beat the bills backups lol. Then I come on here and people actually think this is a big win LOL
I see why you are still on the "practice squad" - LOL

Cope harder, hold that L, see you in Buffalo later this year

And people trying to make the "Bills had injuries" excuse are being very one-sided. They're ignoring the fact that Miami was also missing several starters. We came in missing one starting CB and due to cramping X missed about half of the game as well. And we were missing a key DT as well. Just like their secondary was missing starters against our great WRs, Miami was missing their starting RT against their great pass rush (and then lost our back-up T and staring RG for part of the game). And likewise, we had to use players we just called up from the practice squad. We even lost our starting QB for a critical drive. The point is that football is a brutal game and both teams can lament that they weren't anywhere near full strength. I would be thinking about the 'what ifs' had Miami lost, but I hope I wouldn't be so pathetic as to pretend that my team was the only one that was injured.
I don’t concern myself with the injury excuse. The fact is most of their key injuries were on defense and it was their offense that controlled the ball for the majority of the game.

Injuries are part of the game and teams have to adjust when they have those injuries. If Allen and their main offensive players had missed the game because of injuries, I might understand them complaining about injuries. Yet their offense ran twice as many plays as the Dolphins offense and they still lost the game.

Also just as a side note. Kevin Harlan can call all of our games and I'd be cool with that. Trent Green kinda sucks but Harlan is truly one of the best in the business - and he's the #3 broadcaster on CBS.
I love ❤ Harlan

IMO, it is still too early to make that statement. Statistically, he has played like a top 5 QB. He has played well in the 4th quarter and in big moments. The down side is the inconsistent play and the down quarters. We cannot have this conversation, but it is getting closer to having a serious discussion about him being a top 10 or top 5 QB.
Nope...not gonna let that pass.

Watch the film of his previous 2 games...and count the drops. Accurate throws hitting hands, and dropped. He threw a bad INT in one of those games, and almost one in the other 2 games, trying to force the ball and make a big play...that has to be corrected, yes. But he hasn't played inconsistently, when you compare his play to every other QB in the league. We had Josh Allen in the flesh today, how many of his passes hit a defender right in the mitts? His floor has been excellent, his ceiling outstanding...so far through 3 games.

Tua needs to be correctly compared to other QBs, not via narrative restrictions. He has absolutely been playing top 10, probably top 5 considering how some of the big names have showed out this year so far. Lamar/Allen may be the only 2 standing out more than Tua is...well, throw in Mahomes...and possibly Hurts. Do we need to see more? Most certainly. But at this point in time, he has went up against 2 VERY good defenses, and one poor passing defense, and has been VERY sharp and dialed-in, even when things on offense weren't going great.

The results and stats all back it up.

Last year McDermott cost the Bills a shot at the super bowl. Today again shows why he's overrated IMO. What the hell were they thinking before the half? (I'm glad they did it) Either Allen or McDermott need to get heat for that. What did they have to gain on a fake spike with no time left. Did they really think they were going to go 40 for the score? If they get points at half Allen wouldn't have had the opportunity to short hop the WR and turn it over on downs late in the game. Late FG would have taken the lead. Unless I missed the fact that there was no time left in the half.

I'm loving McDaniel so far. Just wish we would have throw it deep on the first play when we got the ball back at the end of the game. Show them you might not run. Put the on their heels. Might have bought us some space to run and get a first down and ice the game.
On that play they had no timeouts. So they were planning to spike the ball and attempt to kick a FG. When the center hiked the ball, Allen fumbled it and once he fumbled the ball it is illegal to spike the ball.

It wasn’t a fake spike at all. It was simply a fumbled ball that prevented a spike and left Allen nothing to do but throw the ball once he recovered the fumble. You can’t blame McDermott for the fact the center and QB had trouble with the exchange when the ball was hiked.
