When I saw the title, Gordon off tackle was the first thing that came to mind. I think we've all been conditioned to conservative expectations after the Jimmy/ Wanny years.

:lol: It was suppose to get a laugh. I don't know why but that was the first thing that popped into my head when I read the first play title.

any thing except an int for td. just kidding if ricky starts i see saban handing the ball to him, and putting the last yr behind him ricky pops off a 9yd gain.
 
1st play from scrimmage.....short pass to Gordon in the flat or a screen to Gordon. I think it'll be something simple like that....of course....

I'd love it if they ran fly routes and let one loose on the 1st play. Throw a shock into everyone...media, bears, and our fans.

Damn, I can't believe I'm this excited over watching a preseason game!

I always try to watch Dolphins PS games when the chance occurs because I'm so happy that the season is starting in general but this year is different...and I think becuase it's just an excitement of the new staff and the mystery that control-freak-Saban brings to the table.
 
Scratch my first idea. Lets go with a flee flicker to boston for a 26 yard gain..:D
 
Probably an incompletion. Saban will try to get to Chambers on a double-move the first play to take advantage of the opposing DB's nerves. Feeley will undoubtedly be nervous and overthrow it.

I was thinking something similar.

I was thinking play action with Mcmichaels running the seam route.

30 yards down the field, just a tad bit overthrown, stretching out his hands bounces off for an inc. Should have been caught.

Either that or a deep boMB for Chambers 72 yards later a TD.

No matter what, I believe the first 3 plays will be pass attempts past 10 yards.
