THis is my first post, so please take it easy. I've been a fin fan for 25 years, and now living overseas in MADRID SPAIN. I've been a user and reader of this board for years and love waht everyone has to say. Ive decided to contribute my 2 cents. Lets hope and pray tomorrow goes in our favor!!!


Trade our 1st with Pitt or Carolina for their 1st, 3rd, and 4th:

1) OT: Staley
2A) QB: Beck or Kolb
2B) DE: T. crowder?? of not, L.Woodley , Q. Moses, or C. Johnson
3A) C: Satele or Datish or Yanda
3B) G: Alleman (akron/ or Beekman
4A) WR: M. Davis (Cent. Fla), Y. Figurs (K St.), P. Williams (Fresno St.)
4B) S: S.Piscitelli (Oregon st.) or J Gatis (wake)
6A) TE: M. Spaeth (minn). M. Allan (whitworth)
6B) WR: D. Ball (NH), J. Samardjiza (Notre Dame...worth the risk!)
7A) FB: LeRon McClain (MD)
7B) Punter: A. Podelsh (Maryland)
7C) CB: Courntney Brown (cal poltech)

NOTE: I dont think we should give in to KC and shouldnt give anything for Trent Green. Wait til he is cut in June. Also not for trading Ricky, unless we can get a 3rd for him. Booker seems to be our most reliable receiver, so also wouldnt trade him. If we could unload Daunte for a 4th or 5th, Id do it.

Nice mock. I could definitely live with that, maybe Sidney Rice in the 2nd, though. And definitely Beck in the 2nd, too.

Horrible draft if does not include Brady Quinn. Staley is a huge reach. Dol-fans would be at the Saban Bubble with rope and pitchforks in hands.

Have fun on Madden. :sidelol: If you think your going to get all those picks for the ninth overall.

The rest of your picks will not make anyone toes tingle. :o
 
Yeah a solid WR may be the way to go in rd 2 (although considering the depth this year i thought maybe we could get a steal or a hidden gem in the 3rd or 4th). Certianly, if someone like Rice is there, we'd prob have to pull the trigger. Also I forgot to throw in the DE from Hawaii as a possible 2B.
 
Don't I would love to have B. Quinn like many on this board do, but I dont think its worth
 
First Im stating that Quinn will not be available when we pick at 9. I would wait to make any trades until we pick before doing anything. I'd piss myself with joy if we landed Quinn somehow at 9, but I think we have too many holes to fill than to give up our 2nds and/or a 3rd for Quinn to move up.

I also wouldnt mind a landry (who prob wont be there), Willis and or Carricker there (who prob will be there).

Its worth it. Brady Quinn is a SAVIOR. Steve Smith in the second round along with Michael Bush.

FIns need BIG NAMES from BIG SCHOOLS not unknowns from central florida or AKRON. Who drafts players from AKRON?

Name one player still alive that came from AKRON? :err:
 
madrid i think its a realistic situation...

bikini is a little :crazy: when it comes to Quinn, so be warned, haha...

im not to high on staley though, id rather get Ginn, and get a doug free with our 3rd... id also hope to land a TE somewhere in the 1st day, id replace the DE with the 2nd 2nd rounder and hope zach miller is there...

I like it. This may even be the plan. I like what I have read about Staley, he is gifted. If we can land a QB in the 2nd. rd that Cam can groom and pick up even more picks this draft has the potential to be special. Good job. Samarjiza has signed with Cubs, and taken his bonus, I don't think he'll be playing football.
 
It can't be a horrible mock if I doesn't include Brady Quinn. As much as we'd all like him, even the most reasonable of us estimates his chances to us at 50% tops, and that includes a trade-up scenario.

This is a much more down-to-earth mock although we all may be a bit disappointed Saturday night. But there's a difference between realistic and horrible, and this is a good mock, even though some names are spelled very wrong.

Welcome on board!!
I'm a fellow spaniard, from Madrid (near Vicente Calderon Stadium) but i've been here in the good old USA for many many years. I grew up in Miami in the early 70's watching the great teams we had here.
Your mock draft is very good by the way, I can live with the players you've listed.
