1. Buffalo looks legit. Fitz gets the ball down field and Gailey is a great designer of offense.

2. The Jets have luck like the 2001-2005 Pats did. Unreal. Makes me sick...

3. Teddy Ginn and Ricky Williams looked explosive.

4. The Fins have incredibly hard sked out of the gates. I think New England, Houston and SD will possibly win their respective divisions, the Fins are up against it.

5. While their sked is tough out of the gates, it could get soft in the middle. GET OFF TO A GOOD START OR AT LEAST SURVIVE early on...

6. Pittsburgh looks old. Maybe another wild card is up for grabs. The AFC South is brutal as is the west.

I'm getting really tired of seeing teams just hand the jests wins.

Dolphins have a brutal start to the season. Miami would love to make it to the bye week at 2-2.

Rise up tonight Fins! Get off to a good start in this game and take it to them!

**** 2-2, I want a 4-0 start. Enough of settling for mediocrity. Time for this D to shut some teams down.

We all want 4-0 . . . but I couldn't be pissy about a 2-2 start (unless we beat 2 of the 3 against the elite teams and lay down vs. Cleveland . . . that would piss me off a bit).

4-0...wow.

Wishful thinking but this D has no excuses, no Gibril Wilsons or Channing Crowders out there, tighten up and win some games. Show us that "top defense" talk is not just talk.

I think it is on the offense out of the gates. Thinking that you will hold down some of the offensive is foolhardy.

Here is where I will agree with you about challenging the "D", TAKE THE BALL AWAY, multiple times and maybe even score. That is the next step they have to take. A dropped pick is like a turnover against us.

its a long season... let's see where teams are after the first month.

Ravens looked great on defense, but lets see how those old vets hold up during the year.
Bills played against a terrible defense, but I'll give them some credit for making plays.
Jets and Cowboys did not look good on offense, but its week 1, you expect some issues to get better.

Dolphins have to feel like this is the biggest opening game in a long time. You have to start this off right. I mean, I better not see another embarrassment on national television.

It would help things a lot if the defense could get a score, but I'll settle for a couple turnovers that setup the offense for a score.

Buffalo- Juggernaut Offense?
Jets- You make your own luck.
Ginn/Williams- Meh
New England- We'll see
Re: Schedule- agree
Pigggsburgh- Big Ben will be back with a vengence

Totally agree. I remember watching Fitz last season and thinking, damn, he looks pretty solid, better than Sanchez or Henne were looking at the time.

2. The Jets have luck like the 2001-2005 Pats did. Unreal. Makes me sick...
I thought THE EXACT SAME THING. Everytime the Jets tried to give the Cowboys the game, they would just hand it back via fumble, gift interception, or blocked punt for a TD... The Dolphins NEVER get that kind of luck... (Is this Karma for all the years of Shula on the rules comittee?)
Addtionally, I don't think Sanchez played particularly well. He made a few good throws, but several bad ones. And considering how hurting that secondary was, I thought he would do better. I mean 2 TDs and a 1 Int isn't terrible, but he also fumbled once, TWICE actually, but only lost the ball once.

3. Teddy Ginn and Ricky Williams looked explosive.
Tedd Ginn looks good as a return man because he can only catch balls that are launched via the opponent's foot. Unfortunately, we didn't draft the Tedd "Groundhog" Ginn's whole family in the first round just for a speedy return man who's afraid of his own shadow. We needed a number one WR.

Ricky Williams, on the other hand, now has something to prove. He could be playing better just because of that. If we had kept him here he may not have had the same drive or fire... Sometimes change is good for BOTH parties. Why does someone always have to loose out?

4. The Fins have incredibly hard sked out of the gates. I think New England, Houston and SD will possibly win their respective divisions, the Fins are up against it.
I don't think Houston is as good as advertised. The Colts are a comepletely LOST team without Peyton Manning.

6. Pittsburgh looks old. Maybe another wild card is up for grabs. The AFC South is brutal as is the west.
That would be great, I'm SO SICK of Pittsburg and "Big Ben".

When's the last time a team let us run right up the middle for a punt block? When's the last time a QB gifted us a game clinching INT? Seems like luck never falls our way in that sense.

Buffalo is gonna throw, we should be ready for that. The jets just werent that great. They did enought o win the game, but were not impressive. No aspect of their game was intimidating. And to that point I look forward to whoever lines up opposite Cromartie. If it's B. Marsh, just throw to him allll game long.

I'm just short of saying this is a must win game. After last season, I can see a bad effect on the players if we end up at the bottom of the AFC East on Tuesday.

Miami DB's-watch tape of Ed Reed. The man is masterful at being where the ball is. Ravens D made that game, and shows what we NEED to do.

The Cowboys lost, but did you see the offense? Shots to the endzone, receivers fighting for the ball, slants by TE's..BUT the jets took the game, they crept up and stole the game with ST play, and a few Romo mistakes.

Let's remember last years games against the pats, more specifically E. Chung. Our ST play has to be better this year.

We have a hard AFC East to deal with, this is not a time for our team to be "Finding itself." The Fins must come out blasting both barrels!!
