First Sunday Observations/Fins Related

Yes we have a hard schedule... Based off last year team records. We've already seen some good teams last year were crap wk1. Go Phins!!!

Houston looked OK, they played a bad team. SD didnt look great. If our O can put up 21 a game, were going to suprise. All up to Henne and the O line.....sad thing is I have way more faith in Henne than the O line....never thought Id say that.

Me too. LOL. The Oline will be better with Long and a game plan in place.

Turnovers are key. If the Dolphans can generate a +17 differental for the year like in 2008, they will make the playoffs. That means Henne needs to stop throwing interceptions and the defense needs to catch some. This is the single most important key to the season.

Buffalo's offense looked pretty amazing yesterday. I am not certain if the Chiefs didn't come to play or what, but wow did that game look mismatched from the get-go.

AFC East is looking pretty damn tough right now.

Buffalo looked good but the Chiefs are overrated big time. Charlie Weiss did a nice job of hiding Cassel last year by giving him simple, high percentage throws and mostly running the ball with Thomas Jones and Charles. New OC in Kansas City and he's not hiding Cassel. 22 completions for 119 yards? That's not even 6 yards per completion...that's just awful.

The Chiefs are a paper tiger. They had an inordinate amount of things bounce there way last year during the regular season only to be shown the door by a veteran wild card Baltimore team. Does that sound familiar to anyone?
Not to take anything away from what Buffalo was able to do, but the Chiefs maybe sub 500 this year.

The AFC East will be a dog fight this year.

AFC EAST is going to be a dog fight all year. Even the Buffalo games are going to be fun to watch.

I want that Houston game badly.

Chiefs also lost Charlie Weiss and Mike Vrabel this offseason, Tony Moeki to injury right before the season started, and were without first round pick Jonathan Baldwin. Oh yeah, they released all-world OG Brian Waters as well. REally without Moeki and Baldwin (no idea when he's getting back) the only 2 receiving threats they have are Bowe and Breaston so teams are going to have a field day loading up against the run

Chiefs were awful in the preseason and awful yesterday. I think the Bills are improved, but I'll give it a few weeks before I am ready to say they are legit.

Ricky didn't do anything until the game was out of hand and the Steelers D was worn out. it would be nice to have him in the mop-up role here, but I understand why he had to go

Man I like Fitz but the Chiefs were terrible they put no pressure on him I wouldn't get too excited about the Bills.
