When your team isn't good, or a contender, you need hope as a fan. What players can we sign in free agency to make us better? Even better yet, who can we draft that will make our team great again?

This year, I could care less. I don't require those that traffic in hope to feed me cotton candy of 40 times and qb skills and pass rushing demons, because our roster is strong. Our coach is great, our QB is great, his weapons are great, and the defense has some pieces that can get to the QB and stop the run.

The Miami Dolphins are a super bowl contender and we have the most explosive offense in the league, one that will actually prove to be historic. We will be good as long as Tua is healthy which I hope will be a long time.

So my point? Who cares about the draft this year or even the next? Our time is now! Go Fins!

We still have a 2nd and two 3rd picks so I look forward to day2 of the draft!

Well there is the one big plus of not having a first rounder. We don’t have to watch that long ass drawn out first night, especially this year when it woulda been a late pic, whether it was ours or SanFrans. We have a few decent pics in later rounds, plus all the fun will be in free agency, with players WANTING to come join this contender!

This is actually the second year in a row I‘m not concerned at all with the first round of the draft. There was not player in the 2022 draft who would have been anywhere close to Hill in talent and Chubb will prove to be much better than any player the Dolphins would have drafted with the 49er’s first round pick.

If they keep trading first round picks for players like Hill and Chubb, I don’t care if they ever have another first round draft pick.

Nice feeling, right? Our biggest off-season priority is just going to be re-signing our own guys.

This core is phenomenal and young. Another year will just make them better. And adding back all of our injured players in the secondary plus Ogbah should greatly improve the defense, which is the one weak spot.

If we have any needs at all this off-season, it’s just tight end and inside linebacker. Maybe a running back. Otherwise, bring on 2023.

I like the draft, particularly when Miami has picks. Makes the off-season more interesting and relevant.

I like the team that has been assembled, and in doing so Grier has passed out picks like he was trying to get his Halloween candy bucket empty to assemble it.

Taking me back to the Wanny years.

Its going to be another rough draft season for us drafniks but the whole reason we love the draft so much is because we want to finally build a contender. We've come a long way.

I suspect we are going to have a rather unorthodox draft.

Our biggest need is cap space so I am expecting Ogbah, Wilson Jr., and Baker to floated out in trade offers along with a draft pick to see what can be done.

Our top target will likely be a CB and right now we're picking 60th, 84th and 92nd.....or close to. If your going to move up for one player, its likely to be at that spot.

A lot of solid OG, OC, TE and RB prospects to be had in the third round area I believe so we could come out of this draft with 2 immediate contributors. But again, I believe the top objective will be cap space.

Our team isn't just "close". Were teetering on the brink of greatness and one or two players could really make us elite.

While most of our team will remain intact and there isn't concern for any real losses, Mostert and Wilson are signed to 1 year deals and they have made peanuts in their careers, compared to most players, especially Wilson. Those guys are going to want to get that life time money (and they deserve it) this off season so one of them might not be back.

2024 first round pick should be on the table in the event a deal presents itself that's too good to pass on.

I have my eyes on the Raiders TE and the below market value contract he signed with them. If Derek Carr is their QB next year, I'll LMAO at the stupidity.

Houston needs to stay in their line and secure that top pick, Stroud should be gift wrapped to them.

After that, a lot of QB needy teams are going to miss out on getting a passer. Along with the Texans and Raiders, the entire NFC South needs new QB's as does Indy, Washington, Detroit and probably more teams that just aren't coming to me. The teams that miss on QB's in 2023 will need additional 2024 assets. Atlanta, Washington and Indy come to mind as teams that will be frozen out of the QB process because of their win totals, (barring a massive trade).

Find a CB and starting OL in the draft, all we really NEED.

I will add, I really like the Cincinnati LB Ivan Pace Jr. Someone threw his name out earlier this season and I've been paying attention. I don't think he lasts to 60th pick but he's a plug and play guy.

I love the draft. I take a few days off work to watch it - or roster myself around it. I love watching other teams screw things up on a regular basis.

Which Wilson Jr?
