11-5 last season, Defending division champs, tough schedule no doubt. But....

Most betting lines I have seen have the Dolphins favored by 10 points. How often does a defending Division Champion go half a season before being favored in at least one game. Crazy...

we weren't favored because we have been average at best on offense so even the lower tiered teams we were probally dogs in and if we lose tommarow to Tamp then we will be underdogs the rest of the season but being a underdog isnt always a bad thing. losing to tamp will be a bad thing because we havent beaten them since they became good back in 1999 . this is the kind of game that if we win it wont help us earn squat but if we lose it means we are worse then we thought.

No, I agree. I love being the underdog. My point was more about the irony of the situation; rarely does a defending division champ go half a season without being favored.

Oh yes, I MUCH rather be on pins and needles worried about which Dolphin team is going to show up every weekend & if we will even beat a Mickey Mouse team (TB) than be a consistent powerhouse that dominates weak teams & beats teams like Denver by 14 points. :err: Every game is near heart attack inducing and its been like this for years. We can't ever just shut someone out. I am young, so I really cant complain. But I feel for my dad, 76 year old grandfather, and the older dolfans who are one step closer to death after every sunday . It would be great if we could come out and just blow a team out of the water like a New Orleans or an Indianapolis is capable of doing.
