1-10 @ NE 22: Merling jumps offside.
1-5 @ NE 27: Wake does not set edge and gets clobbered by crack-back after Starks points out the issue to him. Bad tackle and angle by Dansby.
2-2 @ NE 30: Reshad Jones does not do his job and Vontae must make a shoestring tackle. FS does need to make plays in the run game. Horrific mistake by Jones.
1-10 @ Mia 24: Wake sets the edge. Dans by takes on blockers removing four O-linemen. Vontae over pursues, but Solai cleans it up. It should have been a loss.
2-8 @ Mia 22: good play call by Patriots. This is an ok play for the defense.
3-4 @ Mia 19: Both Dansby and Burnett go with the back. One of them made a mental error that made it ridiculously easy to complete a pass to the TE. jones late coming over.
1st and goal @ Mia 4: Wake gets sucked in again. Dans by fills the primary hole. Good vision by RB. Pats get away with bigtime hold on Solai. Burnett does good job of shedding blockers. Poor tackle by Burnett. Sean Smith takes a horrible angle. Touchdown.
1-10 @ NE 30: Burnett fooled by play action. LBs crowding LOS. Reshad Jones out of position. Fortunately, there is a illegal motion penalty.
1-15 @ NE 25: No pass rush. Coverage is too loose, but not the primary problem.
2-1 @ NE 39: This is a good play by Brady. Sapp needs to do better.
1-10 @ Mia 40: Wake does not set the edge and Sean Smith takes a bad angle. He does make the tackle.
2-5 @ Mia 35: Defense not readyat the snap. That is one reason Brady has so much time. Jones late to get over. Benny Sapp torched.
1-10 @ Mia 14: Wake sets the edge. Burnett takes on the blocker. Dans by misses the tackle, and it costs us two yards.
2-8 @ Mia 12: good play by defense. Some pressure. Wake covers well.
3-6 @ Mia 10: rush 3 and drop 8 does not work. Bad call by Nolan. Touchdown.
Brady played well, but the defense made a lot of errors. Too many mental errors, too many missed tackles, and too many bad angles. Wake needs to do a better job of setting the edge.
