Judging by those decisions which would of likely been made if this board was running the FO these few scenarios would've happened. You call the FO stupid for not getting these guys, yet they actually look fairly smart by not. Nobody remember the boards when we didn't draft Quinn? Couldv'e sworn he was the next franchise QB in that draft judging by this board.

Does it suck we won't be going into yet another year with what feels like a solid starter? Yeah, but I personally think Moore played well last year seeing as he didn't have a #1 receiver (Brandon Marshall, yeah, yeah, slow possession receiver who can't possess **** due to not being able to catch). Maybe Moore will shine in the WCO and what we hope is a more competent coaching staff, or atleast Offensive minded and not trying to give RB 30 touches a game (we hope).

Point of this thread? Calm the **** down.

Well, we do now. Been on this board a while and I certaintly remember people saying no to Brees because of the shoulder, whichever part of the arm it may of been. I mean..Brees was told he had like a 20% chance to play football again.

I was referring to when he was drafted...

I was on this board a long time ago, forgot my login/pw so had to re-join... I remember people wanting Brees over Culpepper only because he (Breese) wouldn't have cost us a draft pick... Although everybody was split on Brees and Culpepper both being a high risk high reward and was fine with what our medical staff had said about Brees' future.

Hindsight is 20/20, the fins medical staff really ****ed that one up...

You're asking a lot of me to remember that man :D. I'm a daily smoker, some things slip out of the vault (don't really drink). I'm sure we could list a few more QB's (Orton, etc as someone posted). I think what really sucks is that when Barkley went back to school. I think that threw a wrench in our plans in a big way.

If Barkley is in this draft we probably aren't squirming like we are, and would maybe be just as easy as trading up, but not getting raped ala Washinton. I really don't watch USC so I can't say if the kid is even worth fretting over or not.

well first we went 7-9, then we went 7-9 the we went 6-10 lol

wow now Marshall is a not a number one receiver. he is a douce but he is definately a number one receiver. Did he have drops yes but many top receivers have a case of the drops. he was by far the best receiver on the team and no one on this roster can come close to matching his production. as for npt taking those guys oh well they were not good but were John beck, chad Henne or Pat White any good. The amazing thing is that not one of these players even got us compensation. Quinn at least was tradeable, kolb tradeable.
Yea we passed on quinn to get an even bigger bust in ginn who had less trade value than Quinn.

I never wanted Quinn or Kolb, but I did want Flynn and I was adamantly against the other two.

Well, I never said what we drafted instead of Quinn was exactly stellar. Marshall in my opinion was a #1 in Denver, when he he came to Miami he was nothing but a drop machine who developed a personality disorder (mmhmm) and grant us with a suspension. Let's not forget the guy couldn't stand on his own two feet for literally more than two feet. I could be wrong, but I thought when Moore came in that he targeted Harline and Bess more.

I really don't remember Marshall changing any games for us while he was here. I really don't..I do remember him dropping 3 TD like week 12 or whatever it was. If I had to hear this year how "the beast" was going to come out I would stab myself in the ears.

No

The title of this thread should read, first we wanted Hasselbeck and got stuck with Fiedler, next we wanted Brees and got stuck with Culpepper, next we wanted Flynn and got stuck with...

marshall had some flaws but he still was among the best receivers in the nfl and without him here the rest of our wr's will be easier to cover.
We now have one good receiver and one decent at best receiver and nothing else
