Wow... Fisher NEVER does this to a player.... Volek must have really soured him with the "threw me under the bus" comment... I kinda wanted the Dolphins to skip Culpepper/Brees and pick up Volek, and move up to draft a QB...

Lied to him? What's that about? Some off-the-field social engagement? Very strange...

"I never at anytime in my career have gone into such detail (about a trade). But I felt the responsibility, as Billy felt he was thrown under the bus," Fisher said. "Billy threw this organization under the bus, along with a number of his teammates."

Fisher wouldn't say what the lie was.


"He was untruthful with me, untruthful with his head coach, about where he was and what he was doing. So we started off on the wrong page there, and that did not sit well with me," Fisher said.

Something had to be going on behind the scene in Tenn. Volek I think could have been a competent starter there then all of a sudden he is benched for Collins and then sent packing. Would be interesting to hear what all went on.

Needless to say they are deffinately in a worse position now without Volek. I would guess V. Young to be handed the starting job any week now. Collins has been horrendous and with very little time to get any feel of their Offense.

a lot of things happen on draft day. and thats probubly when Billy V decided he wanted out, when previously he wanted to stay.
