I'm not real broken up about losing out on Fisher, but I do think this thing makes us look dumb, especially when I see a headline that features an 'unnamed Dolphins source' whining about being used by Fisher.

That's the worst thing about Ross and company, when sh*t goes wrong, he tries to spin it and it's an epic fail because we already know what happened.

Ross takes us fans for idiots. This is about Ross and another failed attempt by him. He lost Fisher, plain and simple.

Glad you're keeping it positive, bud, but I'm sick of failure. Really that's all this is. Two years, two coaches Ross has been after and failed to get. Another failure in a long line of failures. This franchise has shown nothing but varying degrees of failure for so long now that it should force us to look a little harder at the people running things. Hold them accountable. Demand they show a little introspection and at least make an effort to reassess how they run this team. If you give a damn about this team at what point are you going to demand they quit ****ing up the legacy we all grew up with?

Secret meetings with Chud? Heh. Pretty unlikely. Even if by some strange twist, he is named HC, I don't have enough confidence in Ireland to believe he'll have any legitimate opportunity to succeed.
 
Glad Fisher is not coming but Ross is getting turned down like he's the oldest man in the club. Takes more than money to get a good coach.
 
not that upset as in all honesty, I was more excited by the prospect of some of his assistants than getting him. I've said from the beginning the Rams needed and wanted him more than we did. Would have been nice, but oh well.

And honestly, I never bought the whole the longer this goes the better it is for the Dolphins. There was nothing Miami could do to make their offer better. Him stalling really made it seem like he wanted the Rams. Josh McDaniels going to the Pats kind of confirmed that since Kroenke wanted to keep him on staff.
 
Oh no, we are going to miss out on 17 years of coaching with 6 play off berths. I honestly thought after Saban and the Tuna sweepstakes Dolphin fans would have learned their lesson.

I think Dave Toub or Mike Zimmer would be great hires though if you get them. Toub gives off a head coach vibe to me. Marv Levy was a special teams coach, I wanted Buffalo to hire Bobby April.
