He mentioned this morning that he fell in love with Fisher and Snead's "VISION"

My guess is, Fisher basically laid out a strategy/ vision much like Sparano's ground and pound/ defensive style. Which is now pervasive in the NFC West. And let's face it for a tackle like Jake who was never very comfortable with a ZBS he probably decided it was a better career move.

If this is why he left, (basically not being up to the challenge of the WCO) then I'm glad.

Good riddance, have fun finishing 3rd place in the NFC West and getting in the Pro Bowl, while the Fins are in the playoffs

Rams have money and picks. They robbed the redksins with that RG3 trade. They have a solid QB and will still be getting picks from the redskins when RG3 has retired through injury.

It's funny how quick players are drinking Fisher's koolaid now.

the guy could never land big players via Free agency in Tennessee.

Bud Adams wouldn't let Fisher do his job in Tennessee. Adams is the poster child for meddling incompetent owners.

I would put most of that blame on his cheap owner in Tennessee not Fisher - he is a players coach.

The Rams have it going on, but have two of the best teams in football above them. Not sure it will matter much. They have a ton of work to do on offense IMO skill position-wise.

Rams have it going on huh?

Coach Mediocre batted less than .500 in winning seasons now over 18years, would have still been coaching TN as a bottom-feeder if Bud Adams didn't kick him to the curb and hired Baby Schotty as his OC who got run out of The Meadowlands. The verdict's out on Bradford, not even taking into account whether he turns out to be a China Doll in the long run and the ownership has the team traveling to London thru 2014, essentially winnowing down their homegames to 7 and throwing in trans-Atlantic travel as well. With SF and Seattle both reloading, good luck to the Rams sniffing a WC for the foreseeable future.

They got it going on? They are improving but not got it goin on IMO of course. They have signed Long and Cook but have lost others so beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess. Miami is got it going on.up and coming coach, new philosophy, excitement has returned, FA's wanting to be here. You get my point.

Andy, it's on Fisher; he re-signed at least twice, possibly 3X. You can't blame the owner if Fisher had the opportunity to go elsewhere and didn't. Rex is a players' coach, but he's still Rex; Ditto Wade Phillips as a HC.

Who cares STL did us a favor hiring Fisher and Fisher did us a favor signing Jake Wrong!

IMHO from watching alot of the videos from this gibson guy we signed i noticed one thing.... Bradford is not elite. He is a decent QB but man did i see a ton of inaccurate passes and ball placement seemed to me like an issue for him. He wouldnt put the ball in a place where his WRs could make plays after they caught it. Sorry but i could see them picking up a QB in the next 2-3 years and getting rid of bradford. Now they have a ton of picks but have a good amount of holes to fil just like us. Big difference is that they are in a harder division then us now.

Yea drinking the Bradford Kool Aid hurt me two years in a row in fantasy. I drafted Sims Walker as a late round "steal" 2 yrs ago in fantasy, and Bradford couldn't find him. Had Gibson last year...ditto, at least not consistantly. But Gibson def. showed some good ball skills which is why I'm excited we have him now.

They offered more money.

Also, I would bet that we asked Jake to play Right Tackle. I would bet money on it.

He was that interested in what Fisher had spoken about that he left the facility to decide of he wanted to play there or with a team that happily let him test the free agency market. Something tells me this was about the $ and nothing else.
