While I still believe that if a OT player falls into Parcells lap at 25...he would go that direction...I'll start with this;

1- Kenny Britt WR

While I like C. Barwin...and still would love to see him a Dolphins uniform...it appears more now that he is nothing more than a mis-direction. When you look at the Dolphins real needs...they need a top line receiver and a backup OT...more than any other position. Most of the free agents brought in have been on defense...so it only makes sense to look towards the offense...especially with the first pick.

2A- Sean Smith CB

2B- Herman Johnson OG/OT

The Dolphins need a OG and OT...if not for backup...just in case of injuries...Johnson fits the need. In the Box...he's roadgrader...but he's still good enough to be able to play at RT.

3- Jasper Brinkley ILB

4- Dan Gronkowski TE

5- Gregory Toler CB

This kid is flying up the charts.

6- Chris Baker NT

This one will upset a few fans...even I thought he wouldn't be on the Dolphins radar since he has had some serious problems...yet Parcells traded for McDaniel.
He could be the secret player that Parcells isn't talking about.

7A- Henry Melton FB/DE

7B- Mike Teel..QB

It wouldn't be the first time that Parcells picked two players from the same team...and that N.J. connection sure fits.

Blast Away!

Not bad pete, but I would still like for the dolphins to pick an OLB with the first three picks.

I thought so to...but we forget about Wake. I'm sure the Dolphins will either bring in a few free agent types and who knows...there still a slight chance that the will resign Taylor for one year.

I'm okay with this pick, i just pray he doesn't bust. I love his size..

2A- Sean Smith CB LOVE THIS PICK

2B- Herman Johnson OG/OT

Too early to draft backup, how do you want barwin in 1st round and then not even draft an OLB. This is where we get Cody Brown/Sidbury/English.

3- Jasper Brinkley ILB Solid pick if it happens, good size, attributes. Would help out run defense.

4- Dan Gronkowski TE WAY to early for a blocking TE. Gronkowski is a great blocking TE, and i'd be happy with him in 6th or 7th, NOT 4th. NO team would take him this early. You must be his friend or something

5- Gregory Toler CB who? from where? what about him? how about don carey.

This kid is flying up the charts. ----show me a chart please.

6- Chris Baker NT

If he's here in 6th and we haven't grabbed a NT for competetion with Soliai, we must pick him. 3rd round prospect hwoever

7A- Henry Melton FB/DE
who?
7B- Mike Teel..QB

Teel is pretty good.

not bad, some of the player ratings are off, i like you 2 first picks, but the rest of the draft is questionable. I wouldn't be very happy with this draft.

im not a fan of drafting a wide receiver with our first...

The question is...is Parcells? When you look at the roster and what the Dolphins already have at receiver...does it give a tingle up your leg? I didn't think so. Many teams played 8-9 men in the box...why....because we didn't have a serious threat at receiver....most of the passes were short in design...not because Pennington can't throw a 20-30 yard pass...but because the receivers couldn't get open...the proof of this is...the only way our receivers made longer plays is when the original play was busted and pennington had to move, out of the pocket. Now If I and others can see that...don't you think Parcells can?

Sorry Pete, BP just will not invest in another WR at 25. If he did, he would just package this #1 and another pick for Boldin.

Thats not gonna happen either.

We need CB's in this draft and we will sign up another the day after...

Did you not see the CB's in my mock? Why is so many in love with Boldin? First he will cost at least two picks...and even worse...he'll break the bank. Then he's going to be 29...so what are you going to get out of him...3 years?

Pete, great looking draft...
Two things, last year, remember when the first receiver was taken, so yes, some quality receivers might be available in the 2nd...and other than Crabtree, I dont see that much difference in wr depth
Although the Santonio-Fitzgerald sindrome might lure teams to get a wr early, if there is a a higher rated pass rusher or LB (or maybe even CB), I sincerely think we will go in that direction...Remember last year, everybody wanted the next Osi Umenyoura
