1st Round....Eben Britton OT

While many have him going to the Eagles...that depends on if the Eagles don't trade for the Bills tackle Peters. The Dolphins have eye'd Britton and it's easy to figure why...he's natural RT...and that lets Carey move to RG...where he belongs.

2nd round A....Conner Barwin OLB....I can hear the yelling now...he won't last till 44...maybe not....maybe he does.
The only team that I can see that has the hots for him also are the Pats...if they go after a OLB with their 23rd pick...they won't take him with their 34th pick. When you look at the teams ahead of the Dolphins...a few aren't 3-4 teams and some will select a defender in the first round...so Barwin could fall to us.

2nd round B...Sean Smith CB

3rd round.....Ramses Barden WR

4th round...Cornelius Ingram TE

5th round....Terrance Taylor NT

6th round...Chris Clemons Safety

7th round A... Brooks Foster WR

7th round B...Blake Schlueter C

Well damn you have three guys I have in my sig wish list. Smith, Barden, and Ingram so of course I love it. Well most of it at least. Although Smith at 25 is probably a reach.

I love those guys but I think you have them a round late and may not be there at many of the spots we pick....hope I am wrong.

you're aware we just paid him top RT money right?

britton in the first round is terrible, no need for a tackle, or frankly any OL men in the 1st round.

rest of mock is alright.

terrible use of first rounder, might as well use it on a WR

I think your draft is about right for having the players in the rounds where they should go. The only thing I may change is flip flop Ingram and Barden.
Overall, good job Pete.

I'd love it if our draft panned out that way, i'd say its a tad unlikely that all those guys are there at those spots but its certainly possible. I'm not in love with the Terrance Taylor pick and the play of Alan Branch and Gabe Watson in the pro's doesn't inspire much confidence either but he's a big body and powerful so can't really complain about taking a punt in the 5th

DREAM ON !! EVERYONE will be gone by the time you have us picking them.... except Britton....

And how does a top RT belong at RG ?? No doubt any solid RT should dominate at RG but we didnt just pay a guy top tackle money only to move him and create a hole at tackle !!!

Carey was a RG in College....by taking Britton you not only improve the RT position...but you now have a very good RG also. I find it hard to believe that anyone has total faith that both guards will be 100% at the start of the season...and the idea is to get better on the line, is it not? The Dolphins paid money to Carey...not because of his position...and he can play three positions, if needed.

Britton has to get by the vikes too. I don't think he'll be there.

This Cutler item will change alot of boards during the draft. No one knows what will happen between now and draft day. There's a 50/50 chance that Britton will be there for the Dolphins on draft day.

There is about as good of a chance that we will draft an OT in the first round as a kicker.

That is exactly what Parcell's Cowboys did with Leonard Davis and he went to the Pro Bowl. Think again.

And that was hardly the first time somebody took a highly paid tackle and moved him to gaurd with great success; It happens.

i could live with that... depends who they pass on to get britton though.

don't really like the terrance taylor pick, i think they'll go for an un-noticed small college guy for the NT position... a jay ratliff type of pick/player

i'll be darn happy if ingram will be selected in round 4... i'll be even more happy if he ends up being a stellar TE for us

It could happen but I wouldn't bet on it. Britton is probably the 4 best tackle in the draft. The top two are gone in the top 5, the next one's top 10 leaving 14 teams to pass on him before us. Two of those 14 desperately need tackle help and several others could use o-line help. I like your reasoning on the pick though and if he does fall to us I'm sure he'll be considered.
