fitzgerald top 5?

He is having an AMAZING season, as good as almost any other WR in the NFL but by no means, would I consider him a Top 5 WR as of yet. Maybe in a few years, if he shows he can consistently put up the numbers he's having this year.
 
No way in hell should Fitz be considered a top 5 WR right now. He has put up some big stats this year, but he will have to keep on putting up big #'s to be a top 5 WR.
 
He's not even #1 on his team.

In order to be top five you actually have to better than one of these guys:

Steve Smith
Randy Moss
Terrel Owens
Chad Johnson
Marvin Harrison


I think he and his teammate Anquan are tied for #6 personally.

Top 5- No

Top 10- probally

top 15- Definitly

with a few years he may be top 5 but I dont think he is there yet

Who's better? I am throwing out Owens because he didn't play this year really.

Chad Johnson is better. Moss is better (overall just having a down year).

Harrison and Holt are products of their system and I would rather have Fitz over either of them as of TODAY.

nah, he is better than Boldin, but both are very good.

Well Boldin has more yards with less receptions, equalling a better average. Fitz leads in TDs among the 2. You can't really argue that one is better than the other. They are pretty equal....which is an outstanding situation to have on your team.

pure talent-wise fitzgerald is top 5
