I heard Iggy was getting smoked today….like all day….while the other DB's were knocking passes down left and right.

Nik Needham is balling.

I like the nugget about Coleman playing on the 2nd team offensive line and acclimating himself well. There was an article after the draft, talking him up as a sleeper. Good developmental prospect.
The kid has the size, length and athleticism to be a starting NFL OT. Obviously, his technique needs quite a bit of polish, but he should definitely make the 53 man roster. He was quite underrated coming out of college; I know our staff was pretty excited to be able to draft him (and not have to try to sign him as an UDFA).

I was saying before camp started in a thread predicting who would be a surprise cut and I predicted Smythe would be the guy. I was wrong. Miami is going to need his blocking.

The other thing that jumped out is some have suggested Liam being moved to LG is more of a challenge to Kindley than an indictment on Liam. I think the challenge to Kindley is true. But I think if that was all there was to it, they would have just had Davis fill in at LG and left Liam at RT. If Liam is the plan at RT, I don’t see Flo and staff taking away valuable reps from Liam at that position.

I think Liam stays at LG, at least for this year, unless Davis gets injured and Liam is plan B. Not a bad idea to put Davis at RT. He did only give up 1 sack last year, it is Tua’s blind side, and Liam may not as plug and play ready at RT as some scouts predicted.

I think Gaskin is going to have more success catching the ball than running it. I remember the first couple of series last year in week 1 against the Pats the Dolphins tried to establish the run game with Howard. Gailey abandoned that idea rather quickly. It will be interesting to see GodStud’s approach this year when/if the run game doesn’t get going.

Sounds like Iggy is already struggling... again. Im not saying bust yet but it's looking more and more like it. A damn shame

Personally I don't think he will amount to anything but a backup cb at best.

This season is all on Tua don’t get it twisted. The defense will be good as always under flo but tua needs to ball

I am of the opinion that Liam at LG is an attempt to find out what the best unit of five starters is. In other words, they're trying to see if the line as a whole is better with Eichenberg at LG and Davis at RT than with Eichenberg at RT and someone else at LG.

I feel like Iggys draft status is the only thing keeping him from being a cut candidate right now. Especially if X comes back. Coleman, and Needham have moved ahead of him on the depth chart and Perry supposedly playing well too.

A lot of people on this site have some massive aqua colored glasses on when it comes to this kid. So many people talking like he’s definitely a starting caliber corner, I’m not even certain he belongs in the league. Certainly based on what he showed last year he doesn’t.

I get it. He’s very young and was a project. If you want to just believe in every young player who sucked I guess go for it, but I’m not going to buy it until I see it on the field.

Offensive Rookie of the Year Candidate Larnel Coleman sees Justin Coleman out there having a good camp and desperately wants to be the best Coleman on the team!
