Hmmmm, I got nothing...................

He hasn't really had a chance to prove himself.

He had that 1 chance vs the Falcons where he overthrew Ginn in a wildcat play...

but other than that, we need to see more before we judge.

5 reasons I dont care for him

1) Smallish frame, barely six foot if at all, hard to run and throw at this level at this size
2) was in an offense that makes qb's look very accurate in college, same offense as Alex Smith And John Beck who completed like 70 percent
3)we had much bigger needs than another qb as evidenced by last weeks game
4)19 qb rating in preseason
5)seems to think run before pass

hell I will add a sixth
dont like his deep ball at all, seems very inaccurate not precise

1) He knows how to play the game.
2) He's an exceptional athelete
3) He plays with tons of heart (hard thing to find)
4) Has a cannon
5) Very accurate throughout collegiate career
6) Can run almost Vick like
7) Just a flat out player, like they always say about Tebow, hes just a football player who plays quarterback. Pat can get it done. Don't judge him on a preseason where he played 12 plays and handed it off on 8 of them. Or his 1 pass attempt on opening day.

Sorry haven't seen any velocity that would say he has a cannon. Deep ball w/ no accuracy yes, velocity no.

Alot of heart? Hard to find? I believe the team MIA fielded last year was a team with nothing but heart.

And yet 30lbs lighter that Vick.

I can't wait for Tebow to come to the league. His talents will translate to the NFL like his predecessors from Florida Univ., most end up on ESPN being analysts.

A 190lb qb in the NFL, hmmm. Don't see it, but I guess there's always a first time.

White has a cannon. Its not Chad Henne velocity, but its pretty damn strong.

What do you call a bust? If you look where he was drafted at at the position he was drafted at he is going to be a bust. I have little doubt about it. I've never had any doubt about it. If you can show me a stat or any proof that he has a college game that can be brought into the NFL then please show me.

I'm not in the least impressed with his college game.

He has never passed for over 2,000 yards in college.

His completion percentage is not high for college.

His yards per pass attempt is not high for college.

He played in a spread option college system.

He does not have a very strong arm.

He is not only short but small for a QB and/or a NFL player at any position.

His chances of being a pure passing QB is small.

His chances of being a Wildcat "QB" is even smaller. A Wildcat "QB" has to be able to run the football between the tackles. Pat White will never be able to do that.

I use the ESPN stats. I look under "stats" then "passing" and also under "teams" and "stats".

http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/pla yer/_/stat/passing/sort/yardsPerPassAttempt/year/2 008

I see no reason at all that he can play in the NFL. Please back up any different argument you have with some facts and not just your feelings.

Thanks so much.

So it is stronger then Pennington's yet not as strong as Henne's.

I think the problem is what kind of cannon you are talking about. I think something like a Saker or at best, a Demi-culverin is more like it.

Hopefully the best thing that comes out of the PWhite selection is it pushes Henne to kick butt and force the FO to not want to take him off the field when he gets a chance.

Because so far PW has shown to be inaccurate, a momentum killer and no other help to the offense. I'm not giving up on PW but show me something please your getting an opportunity Henne would love and doing nothing with it.

You got to be kidding me... I'm losing faith in you guys..

LOL you think Tebow is going to be great.. credibility lost. I dont think most teams have 3 runningbacks that run sub 4.3's nor do teams run the QB up the middle 15 times a game. I said playing with heart is hard to find, not that we didnt have it. And to question his velocity or accuracy is questionable, your judging his 6 pass attempts? Drew Brees is a small guy, thus making him inept to play QB.

odds are against him and we already had Henne developing & Noodle in his last year and the ilb's & safety's suck. geez, i dunno, let's draft pat white at #44 and see what happens.
