On Sunday, the Miami Dolphins will attempt to even their record at 4-4, but they will have their work cut out for them as they travel to Denver to face a 4-3 Broncos squad that’s coming off a bye week and is chomping at the bit to break a two-game losing streak. Still, there are plenty of reasons to believe that Miami can walk away with a victory.

Please give it a quick read and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

I'm very optimistic about this game as well, considering they're giving up 155 rushing yards a game and I've been growing very confident in our passing game as each week passes.

SUNDAY BRING IT ON!!!

This is not an easy game. I don't think you can write off a team after one blowout loss. Their defense has struggled but what about when that offense clicks? The Fins defense has had its share of struggles. The performance in the 2nd half last Sunday helps us forget about it:) It is a road game a couple thousand miles away. This team is working to get better but they are not consistent yet. We really don't know which Fins team shows up. If they win this game I will be very excited. Don't get me wrong I think they can win, I just think its a tough game and we should be very proud if they win and make it to 4-4. It's been a roller coaster of a season so far and you have to look at it week to week with these guys but I can't help but look ahead and notice the next 3 games are at home:) Imagine if they won and then came home and won the next 3:)

good job, no reason we shouldnt score alot of points this weekend. as long as we can hold denver under 24 pts i think will win.

Excellent article. I agree on the point of pressuring Cutler, but I hope they are able to do it without needing to rely on too many blitzes. Less blitzing = more uniforms in coverage = less chance of Marshall whoopin on us......

I really hope the bye week doesn't re-fuel the connection between Cutler and Marshall. Containing Marshall and stopping the run by the Fins D will be the main key to victory as I'm pretty confident out O will have our way w/ the Broncos D. Hope the Fins D we saw last Sunday shows up again.

On a side note Mr. "hugoguzman", I see you live in Hoboken... I'm a Jersey City resident and head over to Hobo almost every Sunday to catch the Fins games. Do you head out to catch the games at all? I usually go to Texas Arizona or Oddfellows and I'm usually the only Dolfan there... Would love to find some other local Dolfans in JC or Hobo to watch the Fins games with on Sundays.....

#1 is really a weak reason for anything to be honest with you.

I think the biggest reason we'll win this game is IF we hold B.Marshall in check. We have problems with big WR's abusing us downfield. We can help ourselves with a great pass rush and a great Run effort to keep Cutler on the sidelines.

Otherwise you always seem to write interesting and intelligent article's hugoguzman, keep up the good work.

We will win, but not because of a win loss pattern or because of history. We will win because Denver doesn't have a defence and Joey is going to be in Cutler's face all day.

I agree what a lousy first point. Point 4 about their defense or lack there of and our offense I completely agree with.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I think a lot of it depends on how we respond to last week's win. Remember, it took 2 losses for us to have our "best week of practice". Will we be able to keep that intensity up after a hard-fought divisional win?

Hey bud! Unfortunately, I have to "work" during Dolphins games (taking play-by-play game notes as well as prepping other writers over at RF365). But I can try to stop in maybe before the game or after one of these weekends.

IMO we get creamed in this game. The better Chad plays the more attention he will get, we have no running game, the Broncos are coming off a bye, they also have the second best offense in the league and they have a big WR in 6' 4" 230lb Brandon Marshall. Oh and it's in Denver, It's not set up in our favor in any way shape or form. I think we lose this game like we lost the Arizona game.

Another nice writeup Hugo. The Denver Defense is horrible, we should have no problem racking up the points. But can our defense stop them at all will be what it comes down to imo. But if we can dominate the pats, and then they dominate the Broncos, why can't we?

I agree with your points, except the first. And this is also why I'm not feeling particularly optimistic about this game - whenever there seem to be significant factors in our favor, we tend to lose.

Will we come out with intensity or will we come out half asleep and flat? I think traveling Friday night is a smart move, though.

Thats the way to think positive about your team:unsure:
