We are obviously not going to have an aerial attack this year with no number one receiver and potentially no true starting QB. Another option we have to fix the the o line in free agency and draft richardson. Bush and richardson would be a nice combo. I am in no way agreeing with the marshall trade but we have to do something. If we do end up getting manning or flynn i bet we draft a guy like hill or wright which would defeat the purpose of trading away a proven receiver just to go after someone who isnt proven. We are a mess right now and if the FO doesnt do something the whole fanbase is going to be pissed.

Dont need a rb right now.
I agree fix the oline but now you have to draft a wr.

I would love this idea as a fall back if we lose on Manning. I would pass on Flynn. I do not think he can beat out Matt Moore.
Richardson and Bush would give us a very formidable rushing attack. That will create space in the secondary for our mediocre wide receivers.

If we get Manning and Wayne, we should draft Keuchly, and then draft some WR's in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Forget about drafting a QB this year. The talent drops off after RGIII. There are better prospects coming out next year. You have to buy the groceries when they are plentiful...and on sale.

Fix the OLine . . . u get a RT it's fixed.

This line is not dreadful. Fins are very high on Murtha as well. They tendered him at a 2nd round level.

why do u draft richardson when u still have bush and thomas on the roster. what do u plan on doing, running a 3 back wishbone offense? Maybe we can trade thomas for a 7th rd pick

DT has not proven anything. He falls down at the LOS too much. The guy cannot cut back, and he runs upright and lightweight like he weighs 150 lbs. I doubt we could get a 7th for Thomas.
Richardson is a beast, one of the top talents in the draft. If we end up with a pedestrian QB like Flynn or Moore, that running game will be very important. Especially play action passes.
With our current good oline pieces, plus adding Winston, we can be very effective mauling oline.

If we get Manning, then the strategy changes, we will need speed and good hands..load up on WR's.
The draft is deep at WR. Manning was a great player, but there is some fresh talent coming out.
Just my .02

Doubt you bring in 2 offensive minded stalwarts of the WCO and settle for a ground and pound system. Can only hope that they have a plan in place for all this manouvering....

Get over it, Manning ain't coming

They must be HIGH if they like Murtha
9 games played in 3 years
4 games started in 3 years

Murtha makes Jake Grove look like the iron man

Get over it, Manning ain't coming

I have been rooting for the Fins since 1970, I have mastered the concept of "Getting over it"

Manning is a36 year old QB, that might bring us 2-3 years of playoffs..or not. If he signs..great..if he goes somewhere else...life goes on.

Let's not get carried away, we didn't throw Murtha a "Jake Grove like" contract. All I'm saying is the guy has genuinely improved since being a 7th round pick and if he stays healthy he is a solid option on the line. I have made it clear I like Eric Winston visiting and also looking RT in the 2nd or 3rd rounds of the draft . . . but Murtha showed alot of promise in the preseason last year. I do agree he is more injury prone than you would like.

We haven't had any offense since Marino retired....even when we rush for 200 yards, we lose games like we did against the Colts a couple years ago when we had it 45 minutes to the Colt's 15. I think Ricky and Ronnie both ran for close to 100 yards each, and we still lost because we couldn't put up as many points as Manning and the Colts. I think we lost 24-21? We need a passing attack. You cannot win in today's NFL without one.
