You have been suddenly made the GM with your first priority from ownership is to fix the oline after so many have failed. What would be your plan?

Lb and back up qb. Then follow up with a stud de and oline and dc coach.

Draft o line first 3 rounds, pick up decent tight end in free agency, keep the defense intact except for kiko, and run with that next year.

I fix the online using FA. I'm looking for the best guys who fit what this team currently does. I'm not looking for guys that need to be developed or converted from a different scheme.

I'm also ruthless in cutting dead weight.

Anyone want to be specific? Who would you target in FA? Would you cut any of our guys now? Coaching? Who looks like reasonable targets in the draft?

I thought the Oline improved significantly over the course of the season. Biggest issue is stupid penalties killing drives. Having said that, I would love to see a stud center or guard drafted in rounds 2 or 3. A project Tackle late (5-7) makes sense too.

Invest heavily in the O-line. 3 or 4 picks from the draft and add a couple free agents. Keep Larsen, Steen, Young, Davis, Brendel, Asiata,Tunstil.

QB. DE. TE. LB X2. RB. OG X2.

That’s my draft. No more ****ing WRs.

LB, TE, OG, OT, DE, P, and RB.

That’s free agency. No splash moves, just solid guys.

This is my world. There are many like it but this one is mine.

Cuts? Oh, the fun I’d have.....

First thing would be to get rid of Pouncey, James and Bushrod. If you can find a good guard that you know would be an instant starter then grab one or draft McGlinchey and move Tunsil to guard
LT-McGlinchey
LG-Tunsil
C-Brendel
RG-? maybe a free agent or Aiasta or Davis
RT-Davis or Smith

That line would not be expensive and it'd be young and able to practice together. The reason I'd even consider drafting OT at 12 is because that could be where the value is

Ozzy rules!!

If I do nothing else....fix this damn O-line...that and consistent QB play makes this a very good offense.

Might not need to draft a Center. Why can't we just go with Brendel? The line did great with him in the falcons game after Pouncey went out

Ozzy rules!!

Fix the O-line, find another QB, get some real LBs, get a TE and get a FS who can cover the middle and downfield. Also time to replace Wake. Harris may develop but Branch is just average and there is not much high end DE talent on the team.

1. I cut James, Bushrod, and Steen
2. In round 2, I draft the highest rated OG/C on my board.
3. I hire Branden Albert as a coaching intern and assign him to shadow Tunsil

Starting line 2018:
LT - Tunsil
LG - Larsen
C - Pouncey
RG - 2nd rounder
RT - Davis

For depth keep:
Eric Smith
Brendel
Asiata
Young

* In 2019 I move on from Pouncey and replace him with another 2nd rounder or the 2nd rounder from 2018 draft.
