Fix the Offensive Line and so many issues go away!

Near 60 sacks really is a bad dream. We were close with all those sacks.

Alot of that is on Sherman. He was shotgun crazy for too long without using the TE's. He went back to alot of that these past two games. RT would be better served to be behind center 50% of the time and rolling out and misdirecting bootlegs. Not alot of it, but enough to make that one big play you need in a key moment.

How can a QB with that athleticism not be used in this manner? It was said all last offseason how good RT is when rolling out.

WTF was Sherman thinking? He went in a completely different direction this year.

Anyone remember Philbin saying at the start of the regular season that the run game wasn't a big part of training camp? I wonder how that contributed to our poor run game on offense and our ability to defend the run on defense. I'm sure Philbin will not make the same mistake again next season.

He did go a different direction and I assure you it wasn't without input from Philbin. Not sure what Philbins input would have been, but I am sure input would have been given.

I think this is fixable in the off season. The reality is someone has to bite the bullet. My gut is to get rid of Sherman and bring in someone like Kubiak. Kubiak is a career TE/backs coach and is credited with teaching quite a few old dogs new tricks. I am just not sure of a scheme change, however Kubiak coupled with a career Offensive line coach like Philbin and we may have an instant playoff team. It may really be that simple.

Give our linebackers another year of adjustment, bring grimes back. Wallace and Hartline get another year working with Tannehill. I would also look at upgrading our QB coaches. Too bad we didn't have room for Shannahan?

sorry are you saying he wasn't franchised?

agreeing with you. He was never really available. There were talks about us getting him for a 2nd rounder but they wanted a first and they never allowed a physical.

The media dragged out these rumours when the door was shut on any possibility many days beforehand.

Thank you op.... That's the major problem. Get us some cornfed and we will move the ball.
