The only good thing about the losses so far is its still early in the season. We can fix things and salvage the season. Most of these players are playing out of position and they’re being asked to do too much. In football, too much thinking will get you beat all the time. You’re better off just “read and react.” Now then, the patience option requires a lot of changes that might work. These are actually proposed by our resident coach on the sideline, Hayden Fox:
· Ju’wuan James to LT
· Jeff Linkenbach to RT
· Billy Turner to LG (Dallas Thomas has to be benched)
· Jamar Taylor to CB and Brice McCain to CB
· Michael Thomas to FS full-time
· Jarvis Landry, Rishard Matthews, Devante Parker and Jordan Cameron should be on the field in 11 Personnel.
· I would also contemplate moving Misi to MLB and placing a combination of Chris McCain and Spencer Paysinger at SLB.
On defense, I will start Jordan philips next to Suh. Earl Mitchell is a liability against the run. Also start Fede instead of OV, he has been a disaster since preseason.
Also releasing Greg Jennings and promoting Matt hazel, giving parker more snaps or Snapple. Who cares!
Stick with one guy as the MLB, damn it!
But of course there’s always a second option and that is to blow it all up and start afresh. One thing Miami fans fail to realize is we are still paying for all the 2013 decisions. The decision to trade Dante, the FAs bursts and the terrible draft picks not to mention the salary cap mess. Fins up! Hang n there fans, the nightmare is almost over.
