FLACCO ON THE RISE
One of the rumors coming out of the Scouting Combine is that Delaware's Joe Flacco has made the best impression of any of the quarterbacks on the NFL folks in attendance.
Others have written on this same concept, including our own MDS for AOL's FanHouse and Peter King of SI.com.
Flacco is a former Pitt quarterback who transferred to Delaware in lieu of sitting behind Tyler Palko. Flacco could be a high second-round option for a team that might pass on taking a passer at the top of round one. ​

Shows you how mixed and crazy reports can be before the Draft. I posted a couple hours ago a report knocking Flacco and now I find this. My personal opinion the guys will be drafted in the second. Whoever takes a chance will either wind up with a player or a bust. What would I do, personally seeing all that happened with Beck, My head says take Henne cause he is more polished, played against tougher teams and has the ability to be a good QB in this league. What does my gut tell me to do take Flacco he has lloked the best of all the QBs in the combine and is on the rise. That is why im not a GM and im huge fan of the Miami Dolphins.​

Thats why you don't listen to rumors or personal opinion from fans or so called draft experts.

The fact that the Dolphins talked to Flacco first at the senior bowl is very telling...to at least me.

The fight is between Flacco and Hene. Their have been reports that we have talked to both of them. The one thing that is a certainty is that we are drafting a QB.

It was reported that Parcells personally has met with Henne twice now.

Since both will be gone in the first I wouldnt put too much stock in drafting them unless we pull off a trade down. Ravens, Bears, Chiefs, Seahawks, Buccaneers all have to pass on those two for us to have a shot at one
