First of all congratulations to our beloved dolphins for being the AFC champs, and, to all the loyal dolfans who stood by the team when we were going through our troubled times. How about that call, the '"flea flicker" ??? I think it was the turn around point of the game. What about you dolfans????? :woot:

The td pass to fasano, who made an amazing adjustment for a tight end, was the turning point. Had pennington had the arm, ginn actually got past both guys but had to come back for the ball, which made both defenders overrun the play because they were trying to catch him. Had chad thrown that ball 15 yards deeper, ginn should have caught it in stride for a very long flea flicker td.

The way Ginn was able to stop and go get that ball, is what makes me believe his 3rd year will be his breakout year. That play to go get the ball, is what top notch receivers do.

The amazing thing about the flea flicker was that the coverage was still there but the defenders weren't even looking at what was going on. All in all I think it was a very creative offensive effort and I hope we bring out some more trick plays in the playoffs.

Just think had Ricky made that catch on the long throw in the first quarter on the double reverse, and also the Ronnie Brown throw from the Wildcat to the wide open receiver that was off the mark.....we could easily have scored on both of those plays. I would hate to be any defensive coordinator preparing for us.

the ricky play was also a wildcat

see my sig. It's the same play.

It was a good call, but the defense was there. Ginn was double covered, he made a good play on the ball and came back and got it. big ups to Ginn.:woot:

Those two defenders were running as fast as they could to keep up with Ginn so when he came back they had no chance.

Agreed, I know Chad has a "weak" arm, but I am quite sure he underthrew that on purpose. That is a deep ball tactic that even college teams utilize with their speed WRs.

Ginn looked like a veteran player today with that grab off the flea flicker and with the TD one. For first time I saw him go to the ball instead just to wait the ball hit him.

Ginn had them beaten badly, a better throw would have rendered a TD. However, major props to Ginn, he made a great play.

I said Ginn needed to show up today, and he definitely did. Hats off to him. Was definitely a 'veteran' reception.
