Fletcher signs with Texans.

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that veteran cornerback Jamar Fletcher has signed a two-year, $2.3 million contract with the Houston Texans.
Fletcher as a first-round selection of the Dolphins in 2001. He spent three seasons in Miami, two in San Diego, and one in Detroit.
Other teams interested in Fletcher included the Titans.​

Yeah, we passed up Brees. But we would have all been calling for Brees head. He didnt get good until his 4th year. His 1st 3 years he absolutely sucked. Not saying I liked Fletcher...I cant believe he is making 1.5 mil a year...

I think Norv would have done a nice job developing Brees. Look how much better Smith played under Norv. I feel bad for Smith though the kid is gonna have another OC in his third year.

He will, but, I think he is going to be a very good QB. He did pretty good for 2006 not missing a game and completing almost 60% of his passes which is good for a 2nd year rookie QB (meaning he didnt play much as a rookie). Watch out for the niners, that division is up for grabs in 2007 and I wont be surprised to see the niners make the playoffs

I actually think they might surprise some people this year and win 7-9 games...thats just me though. Who knows?

Fletcher isn't a bad zone corner, he sucked in man to man which is the scheme we just happened to run when we drafted him. Don't blame the player so much, blame the guy that drafted him to play the wrong scheme.
