We haven't had a decent hockey team in South Florida since the great Pavel Bure in 1996. Lost to the Avalanche in the Stanley Cup Finals. Get wait to get back to Lauderdale for Thanksgiving and Friday night hockey in Sunrise.

GO PANTHERS! I'm definitely going to games this season.

As far as I'm concerned, John Vanbiesbrouck is as much of a Miami sports hero as Dan Marino.

His stubborn play in game 4 of the finals that year was the most heroic thing I've ever seen in sports. Three overtimes, made so many incredible saves...
