Dolphins management doesn't do many interviews, but general manager Jeff Ireland assessed his team during a conversation:

• On the roster: ``I feel really good about it. You feel good about the depth. The strength of this team is there's competition at most every position. Receiver, outside linebacker, offensive line -- there will be tough decisions. This time last year, we knew what the roster makeup would be, with a couple surprises. This year, it's hard to determine what a couple spots will be. We've done a lot of good for this team.''

great article

Also, I noticed the chatter down at the bottom and thought this was funny...

Channing Crowder said Bill Parcells light-heartedly told him to ''mind your own business'' when Crowder publicly urged the Dolphins to sign Jason Taylor. 'I was working out and he said, `Are you the GM?' I was like, 'No, outside linebacker.' Then he said, 'So you're not a GM, right?' I said no. But Parcells wasn't mad.''

We definitely have depth on the OL, but is it good depth? I dont think so. I don't feel comfortable with an OL player having to step in for one of our starters. It would be scary if Ndukwe, Berger, Murphy, ect would have to start.

At OLB, I'd be ok with any of the backups having to step in. Same goes with WR.

Andrew Gardner played every position on the O-line in college. Sounds like he's doing well in OTA's, and could be a good depth addition.

LOL... I wish I could have been a fly on the wall during that exchange. :)

uhhh...are we moving Crowder to OLB??? Is he not sure what position he plays?
