Not really, it's the same offense Norv Turner ran.

same general theory, but still different, terminology will be different, and obviously cam has specific ways he likes to do things... when norv ran the system for us, it ran more than it passed... cam actually passes more than he runs... though they are both in the Coryell lineage its not the same playbook...

just like Martz runs the Coryell but its vastly different than Cam's and especially Norv's...

Very true. I thnk this issue of a "new offense" is a bit over stated. Didn't seem to affect the Saints last season OR the Jets.

well the Saints i would agree, but the Jets offense was not good last year... they just didn't make mistakes and toughed out a few wins... their offense was bottom 4th in the league though in terms of yardage...

Were Chamber's dropped passes the result of a new QB, a new system? <- Excuses. It's time to play with some gosh darn passion, that's what needs to be renewed. I don't know if Chris needs a zippo or a swift kick in the arse, but he better turn it on or it might be time to move on. (And move out)

I think Cameron has already been pushing the right buttons and I remain optimisitc. But enough with the excuses. Get the job done.

I think Green maybe very good for Chambers

Green is supposedly an excellent leader and has the credentials to make players accountable for their mistakes. I think he will expect Chambers to live up to the potential people see in him.

"
His anticipation is real high," Chambers said. "He expects guys to get separation. He expects guys to be where they're supposed to be. You may see some balls that he may throw (and get picked off), but half the time it may not even be his fault because guys are supposed to be where they're supposed to be.

some one said the same thing i want it to say, come on this people r pro's if i was getting the same amount of money this people r making u can give me 3 play books a year.
remember this is there job this people dont clock in or out.

"A couple of years ago, we were able to throw our hands up when we felt like we were open," Chambers said. "In actuality, it was slowing us down. I think that throws the timing off for the quarterback. We had a bad habit of, at the line, kind of chopping our feet a little bit instead of running and timing everything out.
This is the bad habit Cam was referring to earlier this year.

You might want to let Chris Chambers in on this one, since he is always complainig the his lack of production is because he always has to learn a new system. With that said I agree with what you said and I think Chambers is just looking for excuses so that he can still be the #1 WR on this team. When in fact he should be down to a number two on depth chart. That is why I'm hoping Hagan or Ginn can bump him down ASAP.

Wow one season Chambers is a All Pro under Scott L and the next year he is garbage along with McMicheal and Hagan dropping all those passes. Of course if you back at the film of the last game they caught all of Lemons passes but seemed to drop half of Harringtons every game. No QB's and offensive corrdinators do not make a difference. Of course I am sure having a different boss every year is a piece of cake for anybody who works for someone. Yea right!

I don't know why nobody in the media is talking about that. Chambers has played 3 of his 6 NFL seasons in this playbook. He had 1 year in Chan Gailey's playbook, and 2 years in Linehan's playbook, so this Norv Turner playbook constitutes the biggest portion of Chambers' career. Why doesn't anyone talk about that?

On the other hand, Chambers is pretty much the only holdover from the actual Norv Turner regime in 2002-2003. Other guys got here in 2004, but by then it was a cluster fudge perversion of Norv's offense...just like 2006 with Mularkey was a cluster fudge perversion of Linehan's offense.

let be really charmber was lacking a qb he could be better but when you played with joker at qb that he had... what do you expect out of him. this yr he should make it back to probowl level.. know excuss this yr. if not then maybe he is just avg wr. sometime he makes big play and sometime he drop key balls. that is what he need to focus on this yr...
