Florio bashes Dolphins again

He's right about this though. They really should have just did the "no comment" bit.
This could come back to bite us in the butt.

Bite us as in how? Them telling us exactly how it was, and how it is. How can we expect our players to be politically correct when their character is being question nightly and on the first edition of ESPN every morning. I like this Tornado the media is creating, this is the type of situation that makes a group of men, mentally stronger..

...you can never win this type of fight through the press and everything you say will be used against you....

Everything he wasn't saying was being used against him, too.

I appreciate that he stood up as a man and was honest when confronted with a bunch of mularkey. If that makes him a target for the vult... lawyers, then well, he will have to deal with that. Somehow, I think he will be OK.

Lot of opinions changed today based on what these players said.

I doubt it, but I am glad that if the players truly felt someone was being railroaded, and felt like the media was ripping into them unfairly, that they stood up and were honest.

When you respond to everything with 'no comment,' the vultures win.

I am simply showing you how what Clabo says doesn't matter an I doubt would ever be used as evidence or witness.

I seriously doubt this ever makes it that far. It will be litigated and the Dolphins will pay to make it disappear. But the direction we are now going indicates the sum most likely has been reduced. Significantly.

Its hilarious Philbin has press conference Monday and everyone pissed he didnt say anything. Now complaining the players are saying too much.

You may want to calm down. Unless they have proof or Ireland admits to this, it's a he said he said type of situation. As far as I know it's illegal in Florida to record phone calls unless both parties consent to it.

It is not illegal it is a matter of presumption of privacy and then admissibility. Like I said before this isn't going to the courts it's going to the media and that will be far more damning!

Guys, have you all lost your mind......?

All of this should be non news and I'm being serious.

It's absolutely insane that people outside of football, whom have never been in a football locker room really view this as a "true" bullying case.

It is not....!

I do not know either player, but based on the facts, both of Martin's parents are graduates of Harvard, probably lawyers, and the Dolphins will probably be sued over a non-issue.

Jonathan Martin does not have the mental capacity to play in the NFL and is not emotionally mature to handle the sheer brutality of the sport and he's now trying to blame Richie Incognito for losing it emotionally for leaving? Look the NFL is not for everyone, let Jonathan Martin walk.

The NFL is now being emasculated into a a flag football league and it sickens me.

Imagine if today Jimmy Johnson said, hey the asthma field is over there and cutting a player right there on the spot today.

Back in 1950, more than 80 percent of all men in the United States had jobs. Today, less than 65 percent of all men in the United States have jobs.

The United States has the highest incarceration rate on the entire globe by a very wide margin. Overall, the U.S. has approximately 25 percent of the entire global prison population even though it only has 5 percent of the total global population. Men make up the vast majority of those that we are holding in our prisons. Is this not hard to believe?

According to the Pew Research Center, only 51 percent of all American adults are currently married. Back in 1960, 72 percent of all adults in the United States were married.

Players suing the league....?

In the old days, the NFL was simply a part time job, now its become a over-paid full time job with whinny cry babies like Martin?

Give me a break! But, what the hell is going on with our society?

It is illegal. It is criminal to record a conversation in the state of Florida unless both parties consent or if the conversation is taking place in a public place with witnesses nearby.

So perhaps this conversation took place elsewhere, or Jeff knew he was being recorded? That's definitely possible. And Jeff has shown enough social ineptitude that he might have actually TOLD someone about it.

But I doubt it's on tape.

It's a matter of admissibility and like I said before this is way more damning in the media then the courts. That said I'm willing to bet most agents have a agreement to record conversation on file will all clubs

If someone leaves a message on your answering machine, its not illegal.

But this whole story has gone insane and its so stupid.

Maybe the Dolphins will play better now.

I VERY highly doubt that last part. I can't imagine ANY NFL GM would consent to that. That would be nuts, IMO.

I totally believe this report, but I'd be shocked if it's on tape.
