Flynn leaves South Florida/ Smith negotiating with Dolphins

were a complete joke

Yes we should potentially over pay for Flynn, and then to look even more like a capable franchise we shouldn't bring in a QB who played well for his team last year.

That would be pure genius, really!

He's a good player. Hopefully Ireland can actually close the deal for once in his life.

Please don't say that. How many passes did he actually complete to WR in the playoffs? It was all check downs with 2 or 3 passes to Davis. The Phins don't have a TE like Davis and the WR talent took a huge nosedive when they traded Marshall. I also think he would be a horrible fit in a WCO. His career completion percentage is below 60%. I just don't understand how folks can be happy with this if he does sign. Also, Matt Moore missed the first 3 games and almost matched Smith's season totals in TDs and yardage.
well when your best wr's are crabtree and ginn, it doesnt leave too many options.i know how poorly he has played in his career, i was referring to his playoff performances. any qb we get is going to have issues with our wr corps, its just another hole that needs to be filled. i really dont think this new coaching staff is seeking a tremendous turnaround in 2012.

Moore's skillset is not a good match for the WCO...IMHO.

I'm curious, why, he doesn't make fast enough reads?

Not being a dick, I'm really curious.

At 1st glance to me, his skill set seems pretty good for a WCO. He's mobile and appears to make quick reads most of the time.

We're a joke but not because of this. Flynn's life has been BACKUP. He's Jermaine to Michael Jackson, Manolo to Tony Montana. Backup, that's what he has been his entire career.

We just ****ted on his stock and now he will be had at 3-4 million a year.

hey, at least if true we don't have to dish out a $40-50M dollar contract.....so there's that

No, that wasn't and overly dramatic statement, not based in reality.

*sigh*

Tell me who you would bring in at this point?

ummm alex smith just turned down a 3 year $24 million contract from the 49ers and is seeking a 4 year deal worth $40 million, do you really wanna pay a scrub that type of $?

He refused to sign because his former team was flirting with Peyton.
