Flynn talking to the Dolphins?

a 3rd this year and a 2nd next, I could semi live with...2 3rds seems like a joke from a team that has a QB begging for BM!

the fact that he played on a team who won the superbowl the year he played one game (pats) and one game on a team who was almost undefeated (lions) in the regular season....the team had more to do with making Flynn look good.

Flynn has only been a starter for one season (senior year at lsu) in the last 8 years. He has played 2 games in the nfl.

Im sure thats what its based on and i fully agree that he is gonna suck.

Some guy named Tom Brady also only started one full season in college. I guess he's trash, too.

Whats your point? The dolphins should only draft QBs in the 6th round because one team in league history got lucky and struck gold.

Way to use the exception and not the rule for your example.

No it wouldnt... Dolphins still got bad value for Marshall. 2 3rds for the Probowl MVP? wow.

pro bowl mvp? you mean the two-hand-touch game that fans vote their favorite players into?

look i know we shouldve got more...i dont believe this move was made without having a plan. You dont make a trade like that without having something up your sleeve. I know you guys will make your jokes about the front office but there is no way you make this move without having something going on.

But, it seemed like Marshall was unhappy here...he tweeted with Cutler about wanting to play together again and he was inconsistent on the field and was a d*ck to his QBs. There has to be more to the situtation to make a decision like that. An NFL team doesnt just trade away your best wide receiver with no plan to replace him or make some kind of big move.

No, I was pointing out the fallacy that a QB who starts for only one season must obviously be trash. I have seen nothing to suggest that Flynn is trash. Everyone saying this needs to pony up the evidence, because it just seems like a lot of bluster and Moore-loving to me.

i do not want flynn...if we get him i will root for him and hope for the best but i honestly believe he is going to suck. I think he only looked good because he played on one of the best teams in the NFL...definately one of the best offenses, especially passing offense.

:bobdole: Please no. Make it stop.

I cant handle this ****. Too much conflicting info.

i love this argument, it never gets old.

also, 2 guys named bill gates and mark zuckerberg dropped out of college and are now billionaires, so i guess dropping out of college means i will prob become a billionaire.

just because something happened, in this case your brady example, that is the exception, not the rule. could it happen? yes. is it likely? **** no. the patriots hit the jackpot their, because if they knew brady was going to be this good, he would have went 1st overall, not 199th overall.

also, now with no wr target on offense, flynn would be much worse off, not that i thought he would be a stud even with marshall.

if this is true , it just shows we still cant make the right decisions. flynn will get philbin fired, philbin will get ireland fired. mark my words now.

so...your telling me you dont think playing on the GREEN BAY PACKERS (superbowl 2010, almost undefeated 2011) didnt have anything to do with those TWO games Matt Flynn started???? He ignited the Packers crappy offense with his excellent play? Or he just did good in an offense that is...one of the best in the league???

I dont get what the hell you guys see in Matt Flynn...he looked like Henne in the redzone and he is a dink and dunker.

But did he score?

And BTW, evidently Philbin sees something in him, because he's offering a contract right now.

Lol! Some of you guys are such downers. When is the last time we had a QB in aqua and orange that was capable of throwing 6 td's in a game. This guy has our new offense down and can implement it from day 1.

no one on this site even wanted the guy, no one made mention of him when we were all discussing qb options earlier in the regular season. the only guys people mentioned were luck, barkley, griffin, weeden, jones, etc. no one even mentioned flynn as a fall back option, but now he had 1 great statistical game and people want him like he would be our savior.

Also the scary thing about it is if you were to say that hes no better than matt moore, people will rip you into shreds, making it seem like your saying moore is better than peyton.

if we miss out on peyton, i rather draft a qb and let moore compete, and let any qb we have try and figure out how to be effective with this **** wr core we have once again.
