Flynn's red zone production. All snaps results.

Matt Flynn is our best option. It's time to realize that and get excited for the future. Negative mfers!

I wish people would trust the staff first BEFORE claiming that he already sucks.

Trust is earned. Our coaching staff has lots to do before they gain my trust. We have not been able to trust our coaching staff for over a decade so why should we start now. They have to prove they can be trusted.

based on what, 1 great statistical game? ya, that's worth 60 million.

And a injured Peyton Manning or trading 2 firsts, a second and a third and still giving a huge contract to a unproven QB is? No thank you.

One great statistical game? He's looked great several times. He knows the offense like the back of his hand. If Philbin believes he's the guy I trust in him 100%.

So yes, when compared to Matt Moore, trading the farm for RG3 or hoping Manning is healthy for a total of what two years? Matt Flynn IMO is BY FAR our best option.

If Kevin Kolb or AJ Feely never happened NO ONE would have anything negative to say about Flynn. He's way closer to Matt Schaub than Kolb. Bank on it.

Actually, not too bad considering our recent past. Wonder how much higher our percentage would have been if Moore was the season starter :idk:

edit: and if Marshall could have held on to balls when it actually mattered.
Well the last 3 games of the season we were at 50% in the red zone and the last game against the Jets we were 100% so we did alright towards the end.

flynn blows. And he didnt look great plenty of times, i dont know what games you watched that he looked ''great'' those other times, because i must have missed it.

also, just because he may know a system does not mean he will excell. you need talent also, you cant just plug any guy into a system and expect him to be great unless hes talented, which im not sure flynn really is.

if hes so good, why have no other teams inquired about trading for him in recent years? plenty of teams have needed qb's and yet no one seemed interested in him in recent years, and it wasnt because he was untradeable.

if it was bringing him in to compete for the job, ok, but the fact that if we signed him it would mean he would just be handed the starting job despite the fact that hes proven **** in this league so far, and plus the money we would have to pay him, no thanks on flynn.

if its between flynn or moore, seeing what moore did last year, while he was far from great, he wasnt as god awful as people make him out to be also. if alex ****ing smith can be the qb of a 13-3 team, if matt moore is given a full camp with his guys, i feel he can be solid.

i am not saying extend his contract, or im not even saying we shouldnt draft a qb, because moore also is not proven enough yet, but the difference is moore is cheap, under contract for 1 more year, if he sucks we can let him go with no strings attached, no commitments, etc, as with flynn, we would prob be committed for 2 years at least and still owe him a **** load of money, handicapping us from signing other big free agents.

flynn is unproven right now, their is no team that he should sign with and just be handed the starting job. If he is as good as everyone thinks, let him come in here and he should have no problem beating out moore for the job.

i know many people dont like moore, and thats fine, im not saying hes our franchise qb by any means, or that we shouldn't draft one for competition/ to be ready if moore fails, but their have been worse qbs or qbs who are on the same level who have had successful seasons, so their is no reason he can not do so, and if not we just get rid of him.

If we sign Flynn is nots because of what we saw in games its what our coach saw over length of time

people keep saying its what our coach saw that will bring him here, but what could he have really seen that we didnt?

sure he sees him in practice all week, but in terms of live game play, which is all that really counts, he has a very small sample size. he has played in 2 meaningful games in his career ( 2nd qtr on vs lions in 2010 and lost and was awful, and the following week vs the pats, played better, but still lost. And while i cant say the packer finale vs the lions this year wasnt impressive, i was talking meaningful games, that game was far from meaningful for greenbay).

obviously philbin understands the qb position better than anyone on here ( or you would damn hope so at least) but i just dont see what he could have really seen that we have not. did he play in some other games that i missed?

I stopped reading after Flynn blows. I'll be sure to bring up this ridiculous post when Flynn does exactly what he did v.s the Pats/Lions/Vikings, next season for whatever team he goes to.

I think Matt Moore is fine but the fact the entire organization continues to say we need a QB proves he's not our guy.

go ahead, your more than welcome to, and if he proves me wrong, i will be more than happy to eat crow because it would mean the dolphins are most likely good again.

its funny how people have become so obsessed with flynn on this site. like i say he blows, fine maybe he does not blow like tyler palko style or gabbert style, but what i meant is hes really not that good. The way you said you stopped reading after that comment, you would think i said like tom brady blows or peyton manning blows. i said flynn blows, its not that big a deal, the guy is a career backup, drafted to be a backup, and has proved nothing yet. not such a far fetched comment.

as for the organaztion continuing to say we need a qb, fine im all for it, i just dont think matt ****ing flynn is that ''upgrade''. the only real upgrades that will be available this offseason is manning and in the draft luck who we can not get obviously barring a miracle trade.

griffin has potential but he maybe raw, and i would draft him obviously if he fell to us, but dont see that happening.

i say next year if moore blows this year, he would be gone anyway, we can go all in for barkley and pay whatever it takes to get him.

Funny you should mention that when we actually dropped 6% from 2010 to 2011 and from #14 in the league in 2010 to number 24 this year. Hell of a QBR though!

Yes, that is correct....in a year when Moore started most of the season, our Red Zone TD scoring % dropped almost 6% from 2010. Also Marshall dropped atleast 2 Henne TDs as well, some are painting a picture of this only affecting Moore's numbers...WRONG!

Be careful, you aren't allowed to be reasonable around here, and say that Henne and Moore aren't all that different.

All the Moore guys will say that this is a Henne support statement to try to save face for their boy, which in fact it is asupport of what I have been saying since after Moores 4th game....nether should start for us. However don't praise Moore and blast Henne when you don't know what you are talking about and basically talking out your butt!
