They gave up a 3rd next year and a 6th this year, to the Pats to go select Adam Terry.

I like Terry, but Im not giving up a 3rd next year for him.

The Pats got almost as much to move down as we got for Surtain.

Well, that's exaggeration but not absurdly so. We got a 2nd that was devalued because we also had to drop 24 spots in the 5th. The Pats receive a 3rd but it's bumped with the addition of a 6th. I realize a future pick is valued a round or so lower, but still it's somewhat close.

The Pats made a deal with Baltimore that gives them a 3rd round pick this year and next, plus an extra sixth this year. Hope this helps.
